The fact that dale had a chance at the end with all the damage he had was just amazing
Look at all the great sponsors back in the day! Along with great drivers. Miss it so much.
Not to mention the non existence of progressive banking. Killed the uniqueness of Bristol when they did that.
Hard to identify with drivers today with all these horrible sponsors.
Spam, even little Caesars did you guys catch that one
Thank you NASCAR and UA-cam for putting on these great classic races especially now so we can forget about at least for a couple of hours the bad times the world is having ... Thanks y'all for the 👍s!
I miss Terry at the track, glad I got to meet him in 2016 and again in January
Terry may have crossed the line first but what a race by Earnhardt
I was there! Never forget the moment they black flagged the 3.
Watching this back is like a whole field of classic throw back paint schemes.
I remember too that penalty was bullshit
@@rcracer8872 not like it slowed him down at all!
I was there as well. Still remember a young kid around 10yr old flipping Earnhardt off every lap. Rusty and his water bottle SMH
@@bobguy3352 does that mean that you flipped off Earnhardt 500 times?
"Will you be quiet!"
-Bob Jenkins
RIP John Andretti
I can't believe they let them race while it was still raining.
This is one of the greatest races in NASCAR history in my opinion ..Thanks NASCAR!
One of my favorite races of all time! It's honestly the first race I remember watching live although it may not have been the first
Legend says that they’re still delivering Bennys Burger King and fries :(
Bristol is a mesmerizing track.
Press F for Benny's Burger King and fries :(
FFFFFFF
"Will you be quiet?!" Lol
Nothing like watching a great race back then. I absolutely lived for these!! But I get great delight in seeing the intimidator trying to spin labonte and pushing him across the line ahead of him
Failed to qualify for this race: Kyle Petty, Joe Ruttman, Kenny Wallace, Bobby Hillin Jr, Todd Bodine, Elton Sawyer and Jimmy Hensley
Man this race was a roller coaster for Earnhardt. Truly an incredible driver
Make NASCAR great again!
Miss Bob Jenkins calling races
Here after the 2021 Xfinity Bristol finish.
I love watching these old races. Nascar was so much better before they went to the bs playoff format and stages
Loved this race, loved this Bristol track before the banking stuff!
I remember watching this on live tv!
One of the greatest races ever.
This is one of my favorite races of all time 💯
The most amazing thing about Dale Sr. night that race was he came from the back I think twice and was still very strong even with the car mashed in. If my memory serves me correctly he wrecked this car in the spring race and it was just as strong in the spring. The history on this car is pretty amazing it had 2 wins spring 94 and round 2 against Labonte in 99. The car I think was built in late 93 and was used until 99 when it won last
This is a great race at Bristol from 1995 and thank you for uploading this Nascar and Terry Labonte got lucky that he won this race and not Dale Earnhardt and he came close
Reminder set to on I remember watching this race on ESPN classic back in the day 97or 98 Whoowa big Earnhardt fan ever since
Except you didn’t watch this race. If you claimed to have watched it in 97 or 98, it had to be a replay. This race was in 95.
PS1 Hagrid actually ESPN used to run classic nascar races late at night from previous years. I remember recording this one years after it had happened. That’s what he is talking about.
Xenophiks Alpha ah, okay. Got you,
Thanks NASCAR for the upload.
NASCAR could take a lesson from these races if they want to improve attendance, popularity and regain lost fans like me. I refuse to watch what they're producing these days.
Well good for you
I don't get it. What. How?
Stages and chase format made the sport a steaming pile of shit flies won't bother.
Too many ads on this video
@@FastDuDeJiunn Okay, Boomer.
This race is legendary
Its pouring, still racing! What the hell happened.
Final Lap: 2:38:30
Thank u so MUCH NASCAR for posting these classic and incredible races from the 90s. Can u possibly add some races from the 1987 season? Heck, post the whole 1987 season bc statistically it was Dale Earnhardt's best year.
Terry Labonte is gonna win the Goody's 500 with a car that's ready for the dumpster!
I am a big fan of Dale and I gotta say, Dale's personality back in the day remind me of Chick Hicks's personality during his racing years.
obrigado nascar !!! aqui Brasil RJ.
Seems so surreal to see Darrell waltrip run so well that late in his career
Jeremy Mayfield's sideburns are high as fuck 😂
It would have been cool to keep this car for the NASCAR HOF.
One of those wild hot nights 🔥🌙🏁
“And a slow car….EARNHARDT IS RIGHT ON HIS BACK BUMPER”. Man I loved hearing Benny Parsons get wound up at the end of races
That’s another late great in Benny Parsons, not Buddy Baker.
@@darren.plateroti oh wow yes you are right.
2:39:57 at the broadcast opening Dr Jerry punch said a battered NWC car will be at victory lane well.....
Back when NASCAR was actually good. It was all about the driver manipulating the car to make them go faster hence why you always saw drivers being able to go through the field to the front. Compare this to today's crap where it's all about car and not the driver and you almost never see someone drive through the field.
Nascar, thank you for posting these but please please don't remove all the other ones that are posted by fans. It's cool to see the old commercials in the versions people taped off TV. Mini Time capsules.
bruh bristol looks so different than it did in even 1998 which was 3 years later
Nascar Braveheart PS1 PC Windows 95 Toy Story amomg other things show why 1995 was a great Year
1:20
"Will you be QUIET?!"
I miss old bristol
I farted diarrhea
Yay my car👍🏻
How were they able to race like that when it was raining?
Earnhardt had that distinct exhaust
Man wanted his Burger King and fries
Do it for Dale!
1:01:37 Bill elliott Nearly flips
What in the hell were Mike Wallace and Jeff Burton doing hugging the bottom and blocking the leader ON THE LAST LAP?
This is a lesson in what never to do.
I need to mod NASCAR heat 4 to run the same rules and parameters as in 1995.. I think that would rule 😊
Man, what I'd give to add a lap.
Damm they didn't even give him a chance to breathe before shoving a microphone in his face in victory lane
Geoff Bodine had to come in for a splash of gas!
...or a flat tire, or something.
Those pitstops sure are an ass drag festival !!
Before progressive banking. Good ole days.
I hated Earnhardt finished 2nd... But damn he put on a show all night.
Green flag @ 1:31
Did really only 36 cars start this race?
36 starters was pretty common through the 80's and early 90's, in particular at the shorter tracks.
@@drnoise Was it a rule? I thought I caught them saying there were cars that failed to qualify as well
Chuck Norris DIARRHEA
I don't think Dale turned Rusty on purpose, It looked like Rusty didn't get out of the corner as good as he had been and Dale was on the gas trying to push the pace to catch up to the leaders
The track is just too small.
What's up with the dislikes?
@Tigger
But he won it
@@X8X8X8X8X8X8X8X8X8X theres only 8 what do u mean
@@jacobr6712
There were a lot early on, roughly 7 dislikes and only 27 likes.
What Jerk Told Benny To Be Quiet?
That was his broadcast partner, Bob Jenkins. He wasn’t saying it to be a jerk, but rather to be sarcastic, as Benny asked if it was “Still raining?” and Bob did not want BP to jinx anything (in fact, Parsons himself chuckles after Jenkins chides him).
1.20 Will you be quiet?
Let’s what what strategy he pulls.
OH, LABONTE AND SIDEWAYS BUT WINS THE RACE! CRASHES AND WINS ANYWAY HOW ABOUT THAT!
The 2 slow cars should have moved out of the way
Nascar, please get admins for live chats. They become more toxic with every stream and premiere.
Wonder what Dale would think about sitting back on his iPhone watching himself race on UA-cam ):
