I agree. Women are biologically wired to be more interested in psychological and emotional things. The women who fall in love with killers are a whole different ball game! Not normal..

Because women want to know who to stay away from. True crime’s deep dives into the psychological profiles of perpetrators are extremely helpful for women. There’s always a need for a better understanding of what and why men do what they do. For example, coercive control needs much more research in order to help women identify the red flags, which in turn helps them know when to escape the relationship.

I certainly don't want to visit dangerous criminals, but I enjoy watching true crime videos because I like seeing how the police solve crimes (the element of mystery in some of them), empathising with the victims and families, and trying to understand the psychology behind it.

I guess, but it's more like people in general are interested in it. I'm curious why it's almost entirely men who are interested in Dead Malls. With how important malls were to girls who grew up in the 80s and 90s, you'd think there would be more adult women exploring Dead Malls. I can see safety being an issue in some areas but I think most dead malls or dying malls are pretty safe.
