To all people struggling with Lee's b2~f combos be patient. Spend time on practice mode, all the time you need to get them right. And don't be like "oh i got it twice in a row i guess i'm ready to play real matches now." Don't be like that, don't practice until you get it, practice until you don't fail anymore. I spent litterally one day, like 12 or 14 hours just doing u/f4, b2~f and it worked. Took a lot of time and a lot of patience but trust me, once you got it, you got it. Its like riding a bike. So be patient, don't give up and hit the lab!
Lee isn't a damage Character! He has good pokes, combos and strings! He's one of those characters who widdles down your health little by little til there is nothing left. He's essentially a rush down defense type of character who punish's well

Brandon Anderson yeah ws 2,3 got nerfed b+3,4 which was one of Lee's strongest moves got changed to b+3,3 which is not that good and some other stuff I forget
No matter how hard I try, I just can't pull off some of these combos. They feel frame perfect and it's incredibly frustrating. I'm missing something for sure but I can't figure out what.
you dont need to do all the hard stuff. I modified some of them to pull off. You will get less damage in some but will get the whole combo everytime at least
You only need one or two bnb combos tbh.
The rest is neutral.

why do you list ws2,3 ff3 as easy, its very strict timing unless you got some secret information ?

What i do is i tap 3 with the 2nd forward simultaneously
A good way to practice the timing is to turn on recovery animations. The moment Lee isn’t blue after WS 2,3 that’s when you do ff3. As you said, it’s best to tap forward, then forward and 3 at the same time.
For people who can't chain b2~f steps
D/f+2, d+2, b+2,4,3, b+2~f, f+2,1
If near the wall, replace f+2,1 with f+4,3
For all my struggling lee mains look at his foot for the timing of the b2 loops to start. The leading foot will scoot forward as soon as it does press forward very quickly.Just start with 2 if u can then build from there. You can also time them with his voice .

@@GIGI-bb3yo well they actually make a bit easier this time the forward neutral to any legit combos of him. But I could be mistaken correct me if I'm wrong. I am not sure if it's is my arcade stick or the gamepad that I used to use. Because before I am really struggling to pull of his command and executions on pad but since I switched to arcade stick it makes it a heck way more easier for me to execute his inputs and commands. I hope this little tidbits help you my friend 😃✌
so it isn´t just me, right? while I can make a lot cooler looking combos with lee now he has only little damage...I mean he never had like crazy juggle damage in comparison to other characters but it was decent...now it seems like he´s been nerfed by the new juggle system...the biggest damage i can get now is around 70 (without rage art/drive and walls) and that´s only if I can hit the d,db4 which is pretty hard against good players...and then you have katarina who can launch and literally mash 4 and deal over 60 damage (really, try it)...well I guess it´s a new challenge
Maybe you might change your mind on seeing some of my Lee gameplay. You have to work for the damage.
Why is it when i do iWs 2,3 the airbone opponent doesnt seem to launch on ground

if you substitute every ws 2 , 4 that u do after b2~f for 2 , 1 , 3 you will get +1 damage on all of those combos and slightly more carry

This video was made before 1.07 which buffed Lee’s 4u3 and b2, so here’s a few tips and updated combos from then and Season 2:
*Absolute* BnB: (df2/uf4/HMS 2/CH b4); 4u3; b2~f~b WS 2,4; run; b2~f f2,1
You can do b2~f; b2~f and skip the one before f2,1 if you’re confident in your b2 loops, but both versions deal the same damage, just slightly different wall carry.
Acid Rain (1,3:3:3), Acid Storm (f3,3,3,3,3,4), ff4, bb2, and b3,3 got changed/buffed in Season 2, giving Lee 2 new launchers and 2 very much improved ones.
Acid Rain Combo (off-axis): 1,3:3:3; b3,3~f; (2,2,3/2,1,3); f2,1
Acid Storm Combo: f3,3,3,3,3,4; run; 4u3; b2~f; b2~f; f2,1
New/Improved Launcher Combo: (uf3,4/bb2/ff4); dash; b3,3~f; b2,4,3; run; b2~f; f2,1
The b2~f is tight, so you can skip it if you can’t pull it off.
The buff to b3,3 also allows a conversion off a CH d3 into HMS. For that, try: CH d3,4; b3,3~f; b2~f~b; WS 2,4; run; f2,1
For some of these combos, you can end with WR 3,4 for more damage/floor break, but f2,1 gives a good wallsplat at most distances, which is what you want with Lee.

You actually can’t buffer ff during the recovery of ws2,3. If you turn on Recovery Animation, the moment he isn’t blue after ws2,3, that’s when you can input ff3. Another tip is that you don’t have to press forward twice before 3. Just do forward, then f+3. Same concept for iWR.

i dont get it....the first combo would do without the b2 and damage is the same...the next few combos are useless because they are more difficult and do not deal more damage...what are they for?

its exactly mist step into sway, sway makes you next move in the "stance" a ws move

slow down the video whenever you see lee do b2 into ws2,4
you'll see after he goes into mist step, he sways his head when you do b,n (command wise or EXACTLY what it would show, it shows b2~f,n~b,n which is why you cant sway or do mist step by hard tapping) *most obv one*, when you this, input 2,4 and it should come as ws2,4
simply put,
after doing mist step, input sway (check the command list in tekken so its easier for you to understand). sway is like a stance so thats the reason why you get ws2,4 after b2~f~b ws2,4

I don't understand how to hit B+2 after Ragedrive.. It ALWAYS whiffs for me.. Lee is so hard to play... U never see him online because of this.. other characters have braindead combos but for lee they are insanly hard... So annoying!
LwNickV make sure you're making the rage drive dash go as far as it can. I was having trouble hitting it and that was my issue.

Same here. I was trying my best to learn him but his execution vs damage seems way too low. I can do more damage with infinitely easier combos using Dragonuv or Claudio.

The combo at 1:10, I can never get the dash down. It doesn't make sense to my brain :/ How do I dash directly after 4, u3? It always misses for me :/

I wouldn't recommend it to begin with. I'd say the combo at 2:31 should be your universal launcher combo.
But to answer your question: The recovery on the somersault is a lot shorter than you think, so while you can't buffer the dash, you have time to get it out for b2.
micro dash. it doesnt have to be a normal dash.
take the $100 jin combo.
to hit the last hit of the combo. you need to micro dash (b3 cds 1,2 is the last part. 2 will whiff if you cant micro dash before b3)
likewise, after u3 you need to input ff while recovering then b2 (the b will cancel the dash making it a micro dash)
Df2 4,u+3 doesn't connect from max range of the df2. It only connects when you are basically right in front of your opponent. Just use uf4, it is more consistent
combo at 1:04 actually doesnt need a dash if you start it with uf4 instead of df2

hmm nice combo's since tekken 7 came out, i trained as first as lee several hours to master each combo's i created, the best come out with that sky rocket kick, followed by stance then X ( most damage or B+1,1,(stance) immediately 3 ) WS 2,3 and immediatelly, B2 ~F , WS, 2,4 and when this hits, use Rage ( it will hit 94 damage) :D

You'll want to wait a little after the mist step (~f) then imagine pressing back in the same speed of WR 3,4. You don't want to do them simultaneously, you want to hit b right before hitting ws2,4. Try doing b2~f consistently a few times without doing anything else and then try b2~f ws2,4. You'll figure out the timing. It's complicated. I opt for his simpler combos because there's no way I'm nailing the b2~f~b's online. LOL

KI-Charge. Press all the attack buttons in the same time to get a counter hit. You don't need that in a match though.

you can´t block while it´s active and all it does is giving you a counterhit, so in an actual match it will fuck you up

Now the Lee specifics.
My go to is b2~f for his combos.
So let's take this combo
Uf4 4,3,4 b2~f WS 2,4 S! Dash f2,1
The key here is in mist step. That's the little dash after b2~f, input back on your controller as you dash. Lee will sway back if done right, now here's the catch. There's a sweet spot where if you input 2,4 you will get the S! Without having to actually crouch. That sweet spot is before the sway back. In reality when going for that combo you should see it as b2~f,b WS 2,4 S! Dash f2,1. I really hope that helps because I dropped Lee for a while because I couldn't figure it out.

I think his combo difficulty is kinda overrated. I personally just flow with Lee way better than characters like Yoshimitsu or Hwoarang. Just so much more shit to think about with those characters imo.
his combos are just as hard as nina's iws1, but in t7 you dont really have to spam b1 bcs they already nerfed that wall carry and dmg potential w/o the bound system
