EDIT: Sorry for the wrong inputs of some of the combos, ask in the comments if unsure how to execute them.
Notation at 0:09 is u/f+4, 4, u+3, b2, 4, 3 S! d/f+3,2,3 , and the ender at 0:17 is iWS2, 3
This is a nice combo for beginners I think. As long as you swap d/f+3,2,3 for WR 3,4 it should be a very easy 61 damage combo.
i cant seem to land the df3,2,3 at all

Yes the hitbox increased and now it can be done more slowly than before

I only use b,B4 in certain situations, but yes lee does lack good homing moves, they're all slow. However, 1+2 and HMS 3 are the best homing moves to use imo. They're both safe, and HMS 3 can be used after D3, 4(HMS) when your opponent may attack standing since its -1.
dem mist steps is too much for me to handle. Wish I could main Lee.
Caporai you should try him out, he's easier in tekken 7 imo

Dude, i can´t seem to land b +1,1 f,n from b+2 f,n. It misses most of the times by just a hair. Is it just hard to do? or is it me xD

Momar B it's just timing and practice... like I mentioned, b1 has a smaller hitbox than b2 and starts at 15f, meanwhile b2 is 14f
Hey , yeah I actually figured out I couldn't try to input b1 as fast as I was inputing b2 but actually needed to wait towards the end of the mist step, everytime I tried before Lee would just stand straight back up and not do anything.

What specifically changed in the patch do allow higher damage combos? I saw that 4, u+3 leaves you closer to the opponent, but not all your combos use that move. Is it the b+2 hit box increase? Great video btw!
Yes, b2 hitbox increased, as well as ws2, 4 recovery is faster which allows you to get one more hit on the juggle before the tailspin, meanwhile in the older patches it used to be really hard to land the first combo shown in the video. It was not possible to get a WR3, 4 but hardly a WR2, 1

Yes the buffs. Now all we need is better damage and better hitbox on super. Then Lee will be op

Kaneda Skux no, hard execution. I don't do this in a real match. B1 is 15f and b2 is 14f with bigger hitbox.

Kaneda Skux yeah no probs. it's not necessary, only adds about 2 dmg to a combo where another b2 will not let you get a tailspin

Thank you so much for this! Also to anyone having issues with WS2, 4, i usually double-tap "b" while in mist step and it comes out fairly consistently. If anyone has any better tips, lemme know.
Scratch that I can do it without the double tap now for some reason
Parrotus double tap might mess up your timing because it's only a small window in which you are able to access while standing moves

Alan Melon you can’t hold the forward, just tap it. Then tap back to get back sway and hit 2 right after

bruh don't get the wrong idea, I think this character is pretty good but his standing game is bad (so many moves are negative on hit such as d+3)
they nerfed his 1+2 and ff+4.. makes no sense to me. His homing moves are so limited yet are not as good as they used to be

Yanshine Sandium don't give up. Lee takes a lot of time to get used to. Also, with regards to mist steps/combos. I'll start off with b+2,n , 2, b+2,n as opposed to doing (x3) b+2,n in a row. Hope that helps

i can't do the combo that starts at 0:09. after the S! the opponent is too far away for me to dash and land the d/f+3,2,3. anyone know why this is?
you just gotta dash fast, there's no trick to it. Dash right after the tailspin when you've just recovered
No, you have to dash, not that much, then go neutral, then input df3,2,3.
it's just too hard to land consistently, especially online, ill just stick with the easier less optimal one
the opponent just falls to the ground too quickly so the first d/f+3 just goes right over them

@@jxristop no one asked for your opinion. In fact, the Tekken franchise back in the day had memorable tracks. To me, I think Tekken soundtracks are still holding strong. However, people's preferences in music (unlike yours since you want to compare TK7 having some of the horrible soundtracks compared to SC because of the "dubstep") vary from person to person.

these combos are so unconstant. tried the first two. its ridiculous to connect the first hit after 4,u+3 , but even after that running to the enemy for the finisher is even harder.

tap back after mist step (lee sways) then press 2,4/2,3 (ws2,4/ws2,3) when you see him crouching

toppojaiwant practice makes it easier. I rarely drop any combos at all actually, even online since they're easier than tekken 6

after mist step (f, n) press back so he sways, and when you see lee crouching, press 2, 3 or 2, 4 to get a WS instead

BoONeo no, his damage is decent, adding about +3 damage potential easier than the last patch. The hopkick combo I used to do does 60 damage, now it does 66. Also, don't forget his wall game in general
If anything i would agree his standing game is the same and isn't as good it used to be, example, 1+2 bring -4 now instead of 0~-1
True his combos are more consistent now but i still feel hes at huge disadvantage in stages without walls compared to the rest of the cast, he has potential to do higher with b2 combos but thats just a pain to land consistently online
he gets normal dmg wym? no one gets above 68+ from hop kick, unless you are devil Jin

How do you do ws moves from the b2 n?
this is only special to lee.. if you mist step (f,n) then sway (b,n) as you see lee is in crouch state, press 2, 3 or 2,4 to get a ws move instead. Using this method in b2 combos, you can get pretty dmging juggles

James Doakes yes do a blazing kick (d,db4) or most recommended do f3+4 for more dmg. After f3+4 you get a 50/50 for FC df4 or ff3 or anything really.... the only way to block fcdf4 is to get up crouching.
