I just bought the replica ones from ebay for a fraction of the cost of the original, around £2.45 each and when ive compared to an original there is hardly any difference and they both do the same thing, I would not pay £35 or £40 for a piece of foam because essentially thats all it is, what a rip off!! And providing the filter is not soo close to the engine like mine in my 3000gt then theres not much chance it will dry out etc, but everyone has their own opinion.
