The decals sure make the difference if you're looking for a "close as could be to"..I love a tidy and clean looking engine bay and that one is very nice...I remember the stickers on fairly new fords in 1974 and it looked pretty much the same thing..Dude that thing is museum worthy..
ZIGgassedUP Thanks Zig, I really appreciate you taking a look. I just remember my first Mach 1 and the thought of assembly stickers let alone anything stock couldn't come off of the car fast enough!
Ethan, Thanks so much, really appreciate it, that is cool you have a '66. I know you do lot's of top notch train vids so maybe the Mustang is one the video docket?
We've had it in storage for 8 years while we lived over seas. Just pulled her out last summer! There is a very crude iPhone video of the first start up on my channel if you'd like to check it out. Titled Waking the Big Boy Toys. I will defiantly be posting more videos come summer! Thanks again, Ethan
Where are you finding the documentation that shows where all the stickers go , as well as what parts are phosphated? Is there a book or an online source?
Jim Stafford Jim, The stickers\decals are partially from doing so many cars and taking so many pictures over the years. They mark some of the decals so it's obvious, some are placed in different places depending on the power plant and the factory where they were built. As for phosphate and oil and other markings check this video ua-cam.com/video/_sxD2GAkDNs/v-deo.html
cutworm59 It's funny to pay to put something like this back on the car. I remember the last thing you wanted was all of these factory decals, now they seem to set a car apart :)
Hey Joe, It's been a while, hope you are good. I am sure they will\do, please let them know you found them on Mustang Connection, that would be much appreciated.
