Fair warning, if you have a guitar with a nitro finish, the rubberized plastic on most stands *will* burn through it. Always look up if the stand you're getting is safe for nitro finishes or not. I learned this the hard way.
@@blissfulhumanoid9536 it shouldn't do it though that's why I pay money for stuff. It's designed properly, Hercules melt in the sun and leave sticky rubber and plastic residue everywhere, not fun when your about to play a 2 hour gig on a handmade instrument.
@@soundknight Never mind, I saw your other comment that you recommended Guitto and Gravity stands so I bought Guitto GGS-03. It doesn’t have this stupid foam and additionally has some colours to choose from. Thanks! :)

I noticed the K&M has the cork version, that might be the way to go for thin nitro finishes
Hercules stuff melts the rubber and sticks to your instrument
I have added some micro-fiber material to my stand both on the bottom and on the top

I have this new style unit with no swivel, very well made, works great.
That Hercules looks as dodgy as. Too complex.
I had the first one ..the shittiest stand ever..now it's in the trash.
