I like it when you share your weekly menu. I always enjoy seeing your stockpile.
I am going to try and get the menus in more regularly! As for the stockpile? I definitely need to do some reorganizing and restocking this summer so stay tuned to join me when I do!
I would be really interested to see you create some recipe videos with some of your go-to recipes that you regularly prepare from your stockpile
Noted! I will see if I can get some more recipe videos done. Maybe this Fall once the kids go back to school and I am working from home again!
I agree about the Kroger ad this week. I did a small haul myself this week. Hopefully it will be better next week.
I hope so too! 🤞
I enjoy seeing your stockpile/food inventory and your meal plan for the week. Thank you for sharing!
Your Caleb is absolutely adorable!! 😍
I am glad it is helpful! And thank you! ☺️
In the past we have bought a quarter cow and most recently a half cow. It provides so much meat of all different kinds and really is the best value if you're trying to watch your budget. Obviously, it's a lot out of pocket at first but if you break it down it's much cheaper than anything you'll find in the store. And the quality is amazing!! ❤️
I have heard that! We just bought a half of a Hog at our school auction so I am curious to see how that goes. It's my first venture into buying meat from a local farmer!
Caleb enjoys being part of video and I love seeing him enjoying himself.
He does! There is something about seeing himself on camera. He is my 4th born and definitely the most extroverted of all my kids! 😂
Amazing stock pile it's so nice to have one and be able to skip the grocery store at times 🎉
It really is so handy. I can't imagine what I would do without it! 🤷♀️
Here in Idaho Fred Meyer (Kroger) has 80/20 ground beef in a 3 pound roll for $8.97, which works out to he $2.99 lb and 2 lbs of cheese is still $4.99.
Great prices on both! 👏
No great sales at my Kroger too, hoping for some meat sales soon! Thanks for showing us your stocked pantry & meals ideas. Always helpful
So glad it was helpful! And yes! I am hoping we all get good meat sales very soon! 🤞
Hi Caleb!
My Meijer had 81/19 ground beef for $2.99 a pound but i think this was only for my store because of overstock,we will have swedish meatballs for dinner tomorrow. My deal of the day was a dozen eggs for .99 limit of one.
Yay for overstock bargains! I love when I stumble across those. Enjoy the Swedish meatballs! That sounds delicious!
Sales weren't great anywhere here, either. We needed milk and bought a box of cornflakes. Might buy some fresh fruit and yogurt tomorrow because I'm making supper for extended family tomorrow. But I've been trying to spend minimally this month again.
I realized after I filmed this we need milk and cereal too! 😂 Maybe tomorrow when I grab some things for our weekend company! Here's to shopping minimally together! 😊
🥰Such a happy ending to your video! Have a great weekend.
I am glad we made you smile! ❤️
I didn’t anything this week. The sales were not good. Just as you did we ate out of our stockpile.
Isn't it so nice to be able to have that flexibility? Here's hoping for good sales next week!
We are finding the second week of the month is when the better sales are all of a sudden. That's where we put in the most money lately.
That's interesting. I haven't paid attention to which week of the month has the best sales, but now I am going to keep an eye on that too!
We have 80-20 ground beef at Kroger for 2.99/lb - real good deal, but I have plenty so I didn't get more.
That is a great deal! 👍
Not getting much here this week either. We need chicken though and it hasn’t been on sale ☹️ hopefully we will get amazing sales next week and make it through the end of the school year 🤞🏻
I hope so too! With your creativity and expertise stretching skills, I know you've got this! 🙌
It's actually been a minute since I shopped at Kroger, sales have been so so
Here's hoping the sales pick up soon for all of us!
I bought bananas 🍌 and catfood this week, that's it. No good sales. So glad we have a big prepped pantry & freezer too. ❤
Yes indeed! Such a helpful blessing!
No kidding. Kroger was not good. I only got the bogo Breyers ice cream. Waiting for 12pk sodas to be on sale, hoping Memorial Day they go on sale again!
Glad I was not the only one disappointed. And yes! It would be good to see a Memorial Day sale on Soda. I like to keep some in the fridge for company!
I'm also waiting to stock up on meat I enjoyed seeing your stockpile good job Hello to my Buddy Caleb 😊 God Bless You 😊❤
Caleb says hello back! 👋 And yes! Here's hoping the meat sales come through for all of us!
❤❤❤❤
Thanks, Terry! ❤️❤️❤️
My Kroger has ground beef for 2.99 pound I’m stocking up 🎉
Woohoo! Ours is still $3.79! $2.99 is a great stock up price! 🥳
Am not shopping this week either
Glad I am not the only one sitting out this week!
Have you shared your poppyseed chicken recipe? I've never made it!
Here you go! It's definitely a family favorite! joyfullythriving.com/delicious-poppy-seed-chicken/
Thank you!!
Are you in Colorado just wondering?
Nope! Northern Indiana! 😊
