Hey Kai, just a heads up. The canal was still slow yesterday, but all other Spots just upstream were good. I got my limit of coho in 2 hrs. (video to come soon)
Dam man was this Monday??? I was down over by 3road at first light and the bite was on until about 8:30, then just died for the rest of the day. Was this in the morning as well?
@@bugpumper Thank you! I noticed your reel is being retrieved with your left hand. Are you left handed? I'm right handed and my baitcaster is a right handled reel.
@@jjseandxcefree Hi Jj, I'm right handed so I like to have my Right arm on the rod for fighting a fish, all the left hand has to do is turn the reel. Makes more sense to me especially when I see guys cast with their right then switch to the left hand to hold the rod, then switch again to cast.
Beauty👌🏽 nice work man.
Nice action! Looks like a beauty
thanks go2!!
Beauty chromers!
Nice man
thanks Suman!
Wow what a nice fish Chris! Just have a quick question, is Vedder spring a first light fishery like Cap coho?
Hi Bill, no its not. I get them at anytime, but you may want to go early to get your favorite spot.
Thanks Chris! I am new to spring fishery. Hope to get my first one this year.
Great fish Chris. I'm thinking of heading up maybe thursday (rain). Would you still fish the canal or move up mid river.
my buddy says its slow on the canal today so maybe try the crossing bridge area. But you never know from one day to the next.

i've got more cohos than chinooks this season so far 🤣🤣. Coho bite has been soooo slow in the vedder the last 10 or so odd days though :/
I've got no cohos and no springs, couple weeks to go and season is done.
hit some of the north side rivers in the coming weeks. Still got a couple of weeks left to get one.

Hi Eric! No this was 2 Tuesdays ago at 12 noon.
how long of a leader usually? and 12lb leader or...thx
Hi Jj, I never use longer than 1 1/2 feet, sometimes only one foot. And 10 or 12lb leader is great. 12lb for Springs, 10lb for coho.
