they don't like the older planes. They just messed up their fleet planning and now don't get enough new aircraft delivered. So they have to fly whatever they can get.
I’m learning the a340 in xplane. It’s sure is a great plane to fly. Definitely was harder to learn since I’m used to Boeing but once I learned it’s now easier than Boeing. And in the sim it even has the camera on the tail 😂
To have a dream is a good start - work hard and keep youe eyes and ears open as opportunities arise from time to time! In order to give you some advice on how you could get yourself going, I would need to know where you live as career paths are somewhat different in Europe, the US or Asia? But it all comes down to either start with flight school and work your way up through all the licenses and flight hours or get into a program with a commercial carrier. I wish you all the best - it is a dream worth following!

I assume that you are referring to the displays? These are old ones and have a low frequency to display the content, so if you are filming in high-res with relatively high FPS it is tough to find the right setting to capture that. I used 30fps which is capturing most of it but ot everytime.

Natürlich kommt dann wieder die Zertifizierung zu den reinen Umbaukosten hinzu, insofern vermute ich, dass alles in allem die Kosten den Nutzwert übersteigen würden.

The a340-300 takes off so slowly, yet it is a cool widebody
It takes off slowly because I think it uses Airbus A320 engines and is completely underpowerd

@@PapaPadde Noch eine Frage: gibt es beim 340-300 ebenfalls ein EIS1 und 2 Layout wie beim 320?
Diese Layouts sind mir leider nicht bekannt. Als ich noch 320 flog, gab es diese bei uns nicht und die 340-Instrumentierung ist ähnlich alt.

Die Kiste ist so dermaßen lahm, die sollte besser nur auf einer Space Shuttle Landebahn starten.
Mit diesen Motoren braucht es eben etwas länger, um 240 t auf die entsprechende Startgeschwindigkeit zu beschleunigen...! ;-)
