It seemed like you had two solid premises that needed fleshed out - the chasing a high and the needing more insurrections. Both seemed promising but didn't really go anywhere? Didn't really get the connection between insurrections and the participants lack of self awareness... also they're good tippers? Is it previously established that you're in the service industry or something? Last thing - I'm pretty sure your closer flopped because "round is a shape" is a very well known punch line... I'm pretty sure it's from the Simpsons. I thought you had a good stage presence, I look forward to seeing how you progress as a stand up!!!
Thanks for the feedback! The rioters at the Capitol were in my Uber afterward (I forgot to say that I drive for them) and they were listening to the news reports about the day. They said “we were pretty peaceful today… except for everything at the Capitol” - not that self-aware! But the joke is that we should have seasonal insurrections because they were great tippers. It’s awful foe the country, but great for me!
