OK. Been looking and wondering for a few months. 3 weeks ago, an unlicensed driver made a left in front of me trying to beat the light. Whacked my left front pretty hard. Thankfully, the car was apparently insured by State Farm, still waiting back from them. My insurance company, as I've only liability, said "good luck, not you your fault, not our problem". Fine. Don't raise my rates. I've pics I took immediately after, but a dashcam vid would make me feel so much better. Pics can be open to interpretation. Vids not so much. Sweet review! I bought this last month and had it installed in our new 2024 hyundai sonata. I didn't research much on this, pretty much a blind buy. It's because I've been using Vantrue on our rav4 and civic since 2021
Great review as always. One thing I've seen so far as for the Australian users, there's some headache with this dash cam. Either the sticker for mounting the front camera is not good enough or it's just too heavy to cause the fall off problem. Especially in summer here at Australia, the whole thing just falls off. Not sure if there's any solutions to fix that.
If you’re not an Uber driver then the wise choice would be the N4! N4 (3 channel) = 2160p (front) + 1080p + 1080p N5 (4 channel) = 1944p (front) + 1080p + 1080p + 1080p
It records one frame each second. The benefit is that for 1 minute it will record 60frames, for one hour - 3600 frames, which will be about 1/30th of the size of a regular recording.
I looking for a dash cam. In my old car i was have viofo a129 2ch. Vantrue it's a nice camera but it's very big. I believe for me VIOFO T130 it's a better option for 3ch dashcam..

There are some after market mounts where you can clip on to the rear view mirror stem. Good luck.

Not that I am aware of. Make sure location services are on. Enable the wifi on the dashcam and connecto to the hotspot.

You can have it based on motion or as timelapse

N5 is newer and has one more channel. Haven't tried it yet though.

The picture quality of the VANTRUE N4 Pro will be much better than other brands, although both are 4K.
