out of the 5 70mai is the worst for parking surveillance . it will only detect motion from the direction it is pointed , and since it has to see the head and torso before it will alert really the front windshield is the only viable position . also it takes 10 seconds of continuous detection before it will start recording and will only record for 30 seconds.

Is that true?
FYI most cameras do not record when the car is off unless you have a hardwire kit. Won't work if you just have it connected to the cigarette outlet.
