Nice review job well done! I have a few Viofo's and not so sure I'm a fan of this design. For one the base/GPS module doesn't appear to be detachable so there's no ability to easily transfer from one vehicle to another like I can with my A119 V3's and Mini's 1 & 2. No readily available CPL filter as mentioned, the whole body sits further away from the windshield due to its design which IMO might negate its compactness to a certain degree application dependent. I'm still a fan of the wedge design yet nice to see Viofo still working at bringing us new products.
This one actually is a quick-release based, but I also kind of like the shape of the earlier models.

Forgive me for not being able to figure this out but where do I find this to purchase? I really like the idea of not sticking it straight on the windshield
how would you compare it with Viofo a119 MINI 2? which one would you prefer for less than $10 with promo applied.
It is similar about video quality, and a bit more compact.
The price is great and the image quality is acceptable. But I would wait for the CPL filter to become available or buy another VIOFO model that has offers a CPL filter.

I’m thinking of my lease vehicles.
I think buffered recoding with G-sensor is far more important than voice commands. Currently, voice commands algorithms are not sophisticated enough to prevent accidental triggering, which is very annoying. Buffered recoding is, on the other hand, key to event evaluation for unattended event reccording.

Camera looks good, I always like to check out the app reviews before buying things like this and unfortunately the app itself currently has 1.7 star rating with lots of mad reviews that the "updates" have been terrible with it not working right anymore. Since this camera would rely a lot on the app I think this needs to be taken into consideration. What might be a good camera can be lost if the app just does not work well.

this or the 119 v3? im cheap lol. i see this is a newer model but seems 119 v3 is more proven. looking to replace my $10 dashcam.

Price and quality is pretty much at the top. Might make good option as side cams or additional angles. I like it, but not more than banitsa s boza
