I'm siding with Yvette on this one, because even when you wear the ring people still shoot their shots. Chris doesn't think women check him out but WHEW CHILE when we are out in the world I see it happening - he's just so in his own head he doesn't realize how handsome he is. Likewise, I always have a ring on when I'm out and about alone and dudes *STILL* do the once-over. Glen times is hard out here for the singles. The panini divorces have been finalized for most people for almost a year now so it's 🎶the second time around🎶 for ALOT of folks in our age range of 30-40s.

My husband doesn't wear his expensive ring for the same reasons BUT he got the silicone ring for a beach vacation and has worn it since. I'll take the compromise

Try a silicone ring!! They look super stylish, and they are comfy as heck!

If I ever get married, I would wear my wedding ring around my neck like a necklace. I wouldn't want to put it on my ring finger either because I too find it uncomfortable on my finger.
I developed an allergy to white gold… so. I have been wearing the silicone bands. But recently tried tungsten and it’s definitely working well for me.

My husband and I both have rings. We don’t wear them OFTEN. The rings or expensive weddings means nothing. It’s the actual marriage that matters! To each their own 🤷🏾♀️
The ring thing is VERY important to me. Remember your promises and whatever the reason put on your original wedding ring.

I don’t wear my wedding ring, mainly because it is not practical for work (and I also need to go up a ring size 😅). Hubby doesn’t either due to comfort. We also have zero problems letting people know we are married. Actions speak louder than any ring, trust me.

In my husband's country they don't wear wedding rings like we do here. It's optional. So, if I see my husband wearing his ring I rejoice a little because he doesn't have to wear it.
As someone whose single, altho I watch you and honor marriage as something that’s beautiful that God created, I look at a man’s hands to see if they’re wearing one. It would be wise for you to wear one. People are more bold than you think they are. Now seeing you with all your kids is a wedding ring too 😂😂
I'm right there with Glenn. Also, my skin doesn't do well with rings and most jewelry. It gets pale, irritated and worse. A silicone band is what has been the most comfortable for me. My lovely wife (10 years) has seen my finger after keeping a metal band on it and she understood. I will wear it at church and any event that matters to her tho.

I dont wear my wedding ring either because i am always in the kitchen cooking and cleaning my hands are wet so I get a rash when i wear any jewerly on my hands.

I don't wear a ring because there uncomfortable, but my husband wants me to wear one. So we just bought those silicone ring for us. I told him all these children are my wedding ring, what man will see me with 5 children n go"yeah. I got to shoot my shot"
I wear an engagement ring because my fiance was beginning to take it personally because he thought I was only marrying him because we have a child and I had long spoken about not caring about marriage. It's very weird to me, to be honest because it's expensive since I grew up in the town where de beers gutted our economy and fcuked off, so I have a serious aversion to diamonds and the ring is a boring more ethically mined small gold band, but he freaked out so much I started wearing it. And I wasn't not wearing it because I don't like it. I wasn't wearing it because I love it and don't wanna lose it coz I'm kind of energetic and forceful, but I also feel like the ring bears no meaning to us and our relationship.

this is a serious question i had because I notice pastors that do not wear the wedding ring but the wife does and I'm like God is there something you need to reveal to me or maybe I have not received that revelation at the moment but I do find that to be questionable?
I also don't wear my wedding or engagement rings... Over the past 20 years I'm irresponsible with jewelry 💍 and it feels uncomfortable to wear anything. I usually have it off by the end of the day.. It's whu I dont own necklaces or bracelets, and why I lose earrings!
Thank God my hubby forgives me for losing or just not being careful enough with my rings... He however NEVER takes his off 😂 if he did... I'd have a problem with it because it'd be out of character.
