I've been loving this series!! I really feel amazed by the low prices you get there regarding to cars, back in uruguay a 92-94 vw gol (the hatch brother of the Saveiro) costs around 2900 to 4500 dollars. So nice to see this car run and drive!

I know what you mean, i just got my mkv 2009 jetta and needs alot of work...mind you im a noob when it comes to cars but i been doing alot of researching and pretty much training myself to be a mechanic cause now a days shops be charging an arm and leg and my right nut lol...ill just do the labor myself..just need a vacuum pump and valve cover gasket and interior is falling apart..lots and lots of work but im not backing down..i love this car its fun to drive..
Had two separate occasions (on mk3 golfs) of oil drain plugs spinning endlessly. it's never a good time when oil change includes changing the pan too! Since then I swear by using torque wrench on even the simplest of jobs.
Looks like you are at Harry's U-Pull-It in Pennsburg. They have car inventories on their website so you know if they have something before going there. Has saved me a few wasted trips more than once!

I always like the Jetta and also in general the 2006 generation of Volkswagen was extremely cool (golf Jetta Touareg phaeton new beetle was also a thing Passat ) they were really stepping up the game back then
I just got an 06 Jetta 2.5 with the 5 speed given to me for free as a gift. Doesn’t start so I just bought a starter. Gonna replace it and drive the wheels off of it lol

Jamie...I need your help! I have a MKV R32 and I’m having issues with the o2 sensors. Running rich and so on. I’m in York, PA, so I was hoping to pick your brain on what the issue could be. I’ve spent SOOOO much money on trying to fix this issue with 0 results, besides having a lot of new parts that needed replaced eventually anyways. Is there a way I can talk to you over the phone to maybe get idea what I’m missing?
Was the mk3 a busted oil pan or an oil cooler seal? Saw it was pretty wet above the pan only reason I ask. Love the content bro. Anytime you need something I have containers with lots of spare pieces I or my pops have kept over the years (especially mk1 and type1) Georg&Son Auto Repair in sj. Use to have a really loud white fox wagon in 06/07 lol
I have a black 2008 MKV Jetta (original owner) with a 5spd that just cracked 100k miles and a 2007 MKV Jetta 5spd (parts only) that are going to be parted out in the spring, as well as a plethora of extra parts (trunk, new rotors and pads, oil change stuff, etc). I had hoped to use the 2007 to fix rust issues on my 2008 daily driver, but that didn't pan out due to more rust issues. Let me know if you are interested in parts or the entire cars.

Budget but quality would have to be SoloWerks - yes, they sponsor the videos here, but seriously, for sub-$500 if you're not trying to scrape your oil pan on the ground but want medium lows and decent quality, that's my answer for sure. For the record, the 5 spoke wheels seen in this video are called "Raves" and were a dealer/Driver Gear accessory. The Turbo S had a set of sort of inverted 5-spoke wheels that look a bit like sand dollars called "Deltas" that were actually manufactured for Volkswagen by BBS. I spend a lot of time researching New Beetle stuff and collect a lot of brochures and diecast models and stuff, I'm obsessed with them. XD
Just means you have to get creative getting in and out. His driveway is really steep that even some stock cars scrape. If there wasn’t a bunch of ice i’m sure he would have used his wood setup to get out safely. Stuff happens though 😅❤️❤️

Plaese Show how top put The Suspension Part under tension and then losen the screws so that the rubber bearings relax

Soak the front seam of that hood with some wd-40 it will stop it from rusting any further. Zero effort, maximum effect.
