The pistol in halo 1 was extremely way better.
Its got more power than the others. I used that a lot against the Flood, made me felt like I was in Resident evil.

I think he’s referring to the aesthetics guys as all the halo are set in 255- so, I think the answer you’re after is Halo 4 is when 343i took over and overhauled the aesthetics of Halo, before going back with Infinite and trying to stay more true to Bungies work.
