- Evolution of all the weapons from the Forerunners and Prometheans arsenal.
The Prometheans Weapons are introduced in 2012 in Halo 4 for the first time, just like the Forerunners weapons in Halo Infinite, they shoot hard light bullets and can disintegrate an enemy's body, indeed they have been created to kill the Flood. The Forerunners weapons are introduced in 2021, they as well shoot hard light bullets but can be reflected on walls and have a much more destructive power, they were also designed to being the main Forerunners arsenal against not only the Flood.
2012/2015 Halo 4 and Halo 5: Boltshot, Suppressor, Light Rifle, Scattershot, Binary Rifle and Incinerator Cannon.
2021 Halo Infinite: Heatwave and Cindershot.

The Sentinel Beam is not DIRECTLY a Forerunner Weapons, it was made by them but not used by them, instead used as basic defensive system on the Halo rings. The Sentinel Beam HAS NOT BEEN FORGOT in the video, it will have e specific video for it.

I liked the way the Promethean weapons in 4 and 5 would come apart and have floating scopes and stuff. Made it seem like the weapons themselves were some kind of entity.
Halo 4 Promethian rifle was the best, it had good spray.
I really like the Prometheans weapons design, with all of those neon lights and that shit. Is a shame 343 didn't included them on Halo Infinite.
Definitely not. Sure the weapons were good but adding promethean weapons would mean adding prometheans aswell and my god were they infuriating to fight. They were bullet sponges, teleported everywhere and were all around annoying to confront.
@@zenndraws_Even though they were annoying in gameplay I honestly loved how the Prometheans actually add more to the Forerunner’s in lore, instead of just Sentinels being the only Forerunner related things that are still around :v
I always like that in Halo´s arsenal theres this diversity of weapons between Covenant and Humans, some of this are equivalent but are exceptions like elite sword or brute hammer, the brute carbine works like assault rifle but his design is complete different, the brute pistol feels like a shotgun. When 343 introduce Prometheans weapons i expected that this pattern to continue but no, they just make boring equivalent of DMR, assaullt rifle, pistol, shotgun (that personally its my favorite bc the reload animation) and rocket launcher, it was a miss opportunity in Halo 4 and 5, im glad that in Infinity went back to the original vibe and ideas in Forerunners weapons
Yeah, the original lore-accurate idea of the Forerunner Weapon is the one we see in Halo Infinite indeed, so cool
A humble recommendation and request.
Halo 5 “Weapon variants”. Example the CE magnum, Vorpal talon, infected energy sword- even the obscenely broken Primes. It would be amazing to see them all!
When H4 first came out, the boltshot was so OP. Used to get endless killstreaks using it and promethean vision to see people coming around corners before blasting them at point-blank with the charge shot.

I keep forgetting Halo 4 came out in 2012. Seems like way later than that.
I'd like to see a video for the SMG (And if possible, each weapons that can, or used to be dual-wieldable). If you ask me, the SMG is an Underrated Weapon

Unpopular opinion: i think the halo 4 and 5 promethean weapons look awful and don’t whatsoever function and or look like a forerunner weapon should.
It also bothers me that 343 insist they have red lights, even in halo infinite. They should have blue lights instead. Everything in halo infinite is steel and red, whether it’s banished or forerunner weapons. Definitely think forerunner shit looks better blue.
