You are correct 😝 I’ve been watching your videos for a while as a non-runner and have really enjoyed your commentary and the stunningly beautiful scenery. Your tips on running are helpful, but it was Victoria who resonated with me and got me started running.
brilliant running, massive congratulations, it isnt just the running on the day it is all that training and commitment leading up to it, blooming marvelous,
Well done, she absolutely smashed it. We crossed paths through the race later on and she was looking strong. I finished just behind her on the track and she absolutely smashed her target! Way to go.
The hills do zap the energy out of you and those last 2 hills and last descent do take it out of you! The fatigue goes away quickly and you’ll want it again 😂! It’s a never ending cycle I think! Well done again, smashed it 👍🏼!
Lovely footage!!👏👏 And a wonderful performance from Victoria. So tough to finish this race so soon after a marathon PB. Congratulations!!! Extremely well done I have to say😊👍
Fantastic day out, great film and what an achievement, great running! Especially so close to a marathon PB.....certainly more in the tank for next time!
Amazing effort Victoria! It was my first 50 too, and I felt like I was reliving the whole thing all over again, particularly choked up seeing you reach the athletics track - and seriously amazing time! Mine was 12 hours 10 and just to finish it was something amazing!! 👏🏼
2 great runs in 1 week . What a great achievement by Victoria. Lovely to also see Jen smashing the 10 hour barrier. PS I only wish Film my Run had been around in the days when I was doing such runs.
Amazing effort well done. A friend and I are running the final 25 mile stage of the SDW tomorrow. Petersfield to Winchester. Watching your video for inspiration. 👍
Great effort Victoria. I wondered who was flying that drone at 1:22. If I had known it was you, I would have come to say hello! Those recce videos were super helpful Stephen. Another great race film.
@@victoriac2134 Completely agree Victoria - so much in ore of your 50 though... I've only run x3 ultras and 33 miles is my max... who knows I day I might surprise myself - good luck and keep it up

Well done Victoria, great running and massive achievement there. Nice to see a lot of familiar trails in there and what a day to get out there on the Downs and do your first 50 🌞
Congratulations! You are an inspiration.

Great film with so many great runners!
Yes there were definitely a few regulars there!!
What a cracking day for it too. Bravo
Oh it was a lovely sunny day yes. A little cold for spectators though!
Fabulous Victoria 👍🏃🏻♀️🏁

Well done Victoria, all the training paid off. Fantastic achievement.
She did work hard for it.

Brilliant Victoria,I was spectating at the top of the last hill and it was darn cold up there late afternoon 👍
It did get a bit cold up there towards the end of the day!
Thank you 😊 I was too tired to know if I was cold or not!
What a run Victoria! Amazing work!
Thank you Daniel

Amazing effort so well done.

Super well done Victoria. I think you picked the perfect race for your first 50. Also nice to see so many familiar faces on this race.
Cheers Andy

Tremendous result Victoria, you should rightly be very proud of yourself.
I think she's quite pleased with herself!! haha
Thank you 😊
Amazing work Victoria😀👏. That last bit with you emotional, bought tears to my eyes. You are fabulous !
Thank you Tina.
Thank you! 😊 It’s the first time I’ve felt emotional at the end of a race.
"keep running". always great advice, always well received by an exhausted ultra runner :D
hahahahaha Yes, it's very annoying when someone tells you to keep running. That said, sometimes we do need a kick up our own backsides.
I think it was retribution for all the tough love I’ve given him on ultras! 😂

Fantastic achievement and when Steve said im so proud of you Victoria that was very touching.
Makes me want to give that a bash next year.
Couldn't be more proud of what she has achieved over the past week and in all the weeks of training beforehand. She's amazing.
Thank you 😊 It meant a lot to hear Stephen say that. Definitely sign up for next year!

She's had a terrific week but she put the effort in since Christmas to make sure it was terrific. I think you're right, she could go faster.
Thank you 😊 It’s a pity I didn’t have an extra week to recover from Paris. All things considered, I’m very pleased with my results.
That looked so hard, but what a great achievement in a really good time. You get to curl up now! 😁👍🏻🏃♂️
Thank you 😊 I’ve had a week to rest and now looking forward to hitting the trails again
Well done Victoria! Great work. Loving the channel Stephen.

Lovely part of the SDW. I need to run that section more often. Love Old Winchester Hill
Great run! I did my first 50K two weeks ago and am doing my first 84K in June, so this was interesting to watch.

Well done Victoria! Nice to see Stephen running round after you for a change… Maybe he can film you doing the Arc 50 next!
That would be a great idea if Victoria didn't have to be my live streaming sidekick. I'm sure we can find an equally tough next race for her to do!!

I wouldn’t do it next year, so close to other Spring marathons. However, I’d happily do another 50 mile race with you.
Great stuff Victoria. There were some dodgy characters in this one...
