It is supposedly only a collector's item but the truth is I would use it and carry it with me always, there is nothing written saying that it should stay at home, and it is also very useful.
I carry a Swiss Champ and people say that's too big. The XLT is too big for me. But everyone has their limit. In short, there's no reason it can't be your EDC.
Nothing is ever written for any item for it to stay home as decoration. The question is just how manageable you find it to be able use all the tools it has. For example the largest Wenger model is like 12 inches wide and would be ridiculous to call “practical”. So just depends.
Now it’s almost a year I carry it every day attached to my belt. I never had before any SAK, and this xxl is my first one and I can’t go anywhere without it. I’m fixing with it everything on the go around house. Have it with me when I walk my toddler, when I’m at work as well. Btw I’m a driver, and always have it with me. It is very useful. And when you don’t need it, it’s nice to know that you have it just in case. It gives me peace of mind, which is worth/outweighs its weight for carrying it every day. It’s an assurance that whatever I need to do it will do the job. Simply put, I’m well equipped to get throughout the day. And for this feeling only, there’s no money to pay for it. Enjoy your wonderful SAKs folks.
@@Iloveitwhatisit-ze7jl i've been carrying mine every day since I uploaded this video, and I could not agree more with you. I have fixed more things than I thought I would quite a bit of emergencies got stranded a couple of times, and it helped me get through. Definitely not overkill every single function. I have found a way to use it in certain situations worth the price.
The multipurpose hook is also being used to tighten the military boot lazes.
You could use the spatula as a stirring spoon; either for tea/coffee whilst outdoors. For indoors, I'd use the spatula for stirring the mix of Jack Daniels and Coke
good 👍🏻
Excellent 👍🏻
It’s just amazing to see this in natural environment
I love how this thing still has a keychain ring.. I doubt anyone has one of these on their keychain… I will be the furst
Thank you very much for watching!honestly I carry this thing in my pocket every day since I bought, it but I don't put it on my keys that's for sure!
Thanks for the review! I was going to get this, but,as you said, some tools are a bit of an overkill and redundant/duplicates.
Thank you very much for watching and I totally agree some tools seem a bit overkill! I just changed the scales and I love it! Stay safe.
I’ve been collecting Swiss Army knives since I was a young adult in the 90s. My EDC is a Cyber Tool L, but if I have to do a lot of trouble shooting I prefer the XXL. On my job I wear Cry Precision combat pants and the front right knee pocket in perfect for the size of an XXL. When I was able to afford one I jumped on it. My second favorite is the 2021 forged carbon fiber scales with the Damascus main blade. I never carry it but goddamn do I love the looks of a dolled up champ!
What is your opinion on the Crye Precision pants? Can you ever get them on sale? They look awesome!
It's crazy because I love my cybertool also! Always in my pocket.
@@GabrielDeMfromNY they are perfect man. I’ve had combat pants with pads last over eight years
pen important: "i am lost in the wilderness, give this knife to my nephew as he liked it" also spacula important for survival pb& j sandwhiches
Thanks for watching my friend! 👌🏽🤟🏽
victorinox sells a carrying case for the swisschamp. i even have a leather survival case with survival gear in it from the 80s
That is awesome! Im sure its a good collectors item now a days! Thanks for watching my friend!
Did you get a pouch for yours?
I can’t find any.
Any are you still carrying it?
You said it was overkill AFTER the pharmaceutical spatula, the pruning blade, and the electricians blade.
Great video thanks. I have the Swiss Champ XLT and it is great for EDC.
I also have a Swiss Champ for EDC. The XLT is too big for me.
So how is it gone for you if you've been carrying this knife I would love to hear some feedback I have one and I thought about carrying it but have not up until this point
I carry it everyday! I have to admit at first it seems like too much and now I cant see my self carrying anything else. I did replace the scales for some glow in the dark scales.
How can we order it???
Ebay!
@@bulletprooftactical9842 thanks
How to arrange its row.i can't arrange properly
Looking forward to seeing that modded Sak😊
Thanks for watching my friend
I think the xlt would be ideal for you
The original Swiss Army knife is much smaller one big blade the electrician knife bottle opener and a bodkin and the grip is made out of aluminum no extra coloring but these knives are more kind of a leatherman tool in the Swiss army we also have a big knife kind like the us marines are using.
Thanks for watching my friend!
Btw nice jacket 😊
💚
64 details ?
All those broken bits are repairable and replacable on your old pocket knife. The double functions are probably for right and left handed people.
The Wenger toolchest plus was far better
I agree, the quality is superior. I have noticed the Victorinox start to have minor rust issues and some tools are too flimsy.
So it sounds like this video is helpful 😂
you need a beard
