Thank you! This has helped a ton! I love having the entire SU color palate. Some colors I use more than others. I was so frustrated with the ink pads that I thought had gone moldy. My demonstrator, being as concerned about this issue as I was, replaced all the bad ink pads. Unfortunately, I noticed this continued to happen again no matter how many pads had been replaced. I was ready to buy empty ink pads off of amazon and put SU refills in them because I had become super frustrated. You are a life saver! Thank you so very much for this tip!
So glad I found this! Unfortunately last year (abt.the time this video came out) I had about 4 pads do this, & I ended up replacing them, oh well, better late then never!
Great information. Thank you! I never thought off that. I have not noticed this in my ink pads, I could look but why? Thank you again. I just subscribed.
I'd rather use a little water than throw away the used ink pad that would go into the garbage and into a landfill. The new ink pad also takes many resources to make.
OMG how actual Cheap and Nasty did rinsing the Ink out make these look? haha I am so glad I would never succumb to buying these.... 'Very well now Proven' over priced plastic tubs with a sponge in 🙄😂
It is a spongy feel, but not actually a sponge. I love the way SU! Inks match the card stock and DSP papers exactly. You do not find that with other companies!

I have a mossy meadow did that, now I know how to fix it, thanks!

The company knows this occurs you would think they would make a replacement pad insert.
Very helpful…. Thank you!
My cherry cobbler is like that. Will fix it now!
Can you do this with the old foam ink pads that stamping up used before these new ones
Every shade of red did it! And I ended up throwing them away!!!
I’ve had this happen only with reds
Can you donthe same with the older version felt of ink pads?
I would say yes, but it will take a long time for that felt to dry.
Where can I find Part 2?
Better late than never. In case you did not find pt 2:

Oh I just threw the inkpads out…
So much water is wasted!
This might not be the best use of water. I wouldn't waste our resources by runnng water, perhaps investing in a new ink pad instead. 😢
