I have stamp pads from 1995 and they still hold the ink and take being reinked. I have had three of these new ink pads leak out of the pad onto the case. They are a mess to clean up. I have not seen anything like this on the older pad. I don't know what the difference is, but something is different. Thanks for sharing.
I purchased almost every ink pad Stampin up had about 20 years ago. They were the newest felt pads. I only bought the reinters for 3 at the time. I still have each pad and have not re-inked them and they are only now starting to not stamp correctly. I would say Stampin up products are well worth the money you pay!
I appreciate your video, but IMHO, a company should stand behind their product for more than 3 months. Ink pads should not be considered disposables. They are a huge expense for a full set. I’ve had my ink pads, since the foam ink pads first came out (many are the old style). About 30% of my pads have been affected since then, so SU is WAAY off with their numbers. My solution? A different brand for red and browns.
