I appreciate your video, but IMHO, a company should stand behind their product for more than 3 months. Ink pads should not be considered disposables. They are a huge expense for a full set. I’ve had my ink pads, since the foam ink pads first came out (many are the old style). About 30% of my pads have been affected since then, so SU is WAAY off with their numbers. My solution? A different brand for red and browns.

I have stamp pads from 1995 and they still hold the ink and take being reinked. I have had three of these new ink pads leak out of the pad onto the case. They are a mess to clean up. I have not seen anything like this on the older pad. I don't know what the difference is, but something is different. Thanks for sharing.

Great tips. I have two more. I clean the underside of the arm with alcohol wipes and I also use yellow masking tape on the underside of the arm at the edge so I can read the numbers easier.
