Terrific looking food there DJ all those beautiful Asian flavours coming together and yes I do love noodles, bean sprouts and the gentle flavours. Never tried this restaurant chain I guess I will be trying it very soon.

Reason they are closing down branches is because the main company who owns then find isreal to carry out apartheid and a genocide !
The world is finally waking up , same as McDonalds closing all over the world ! They are losing billions each month !

The problem with these chains is that they're owned by corporate private equity groups nowadays.
Looks fabulous and nicely presented. . I think when I am next off work I will go to Wagamama myself and try out their vegetarian/ vegan options. Hope you enjoy your film and glad you are feeling better.
Great vid DJ. Love wagas. I read further into it . TRG group is closing Frankie & Benny’s , Chiquitto and some Firejacks. Looks like Wagamama not affected at all. All staff will be redeployed . Hope so…..

I work in North Greenwich, literally right next door to that Wagamama & did find it amusing that you couldn’t think of the name “Chiquitos” whilst you were stood pretty much next to one of the Chiquitos branches that closed down as part of this cost-cutting measure 😂

I like Asian food too. Your Food Dj, looked really Delicious and some nice Flavours that you could Taste with every bite. A Lovely glass of cool Original Cloudy Lemonade, made with real Lemons. Wagamamas, A must Go there for the visitor, somewhere different to go and have a Beautiful meal of Japanese Delights. I love Wagamama, my local one here in NYC closed a few years ago. I was in one of their test kitchens in London in 2018 and thought it was outstanding. I hope they don't close. The food looked off the charts!

The closures apply only to the "Frankie and Benny's" outlets, and do not affect Wagamama.
Good ...its no longer good at all and most of the food is pre prepared and just warmed up. I know a young guy who worked for them and he was not impressed at all
Did look very fresh and appealing to me , yes agreee tipping can be quite awkward when your waited on by mor than two staff . Thanks Darren🙏🏼👏❤️👍

Not really Japanese food.
Beef fried noodles, Wong Kei, Wardour st. £4,50 ish. Price has risen by about 30p in 30 years. Free Jasmine tea. Lesser in quality (not prime steak, cabbage instead of paksoi), atmosphere imo better. But still hits the spot.

Over a year ago, 'Wagamama group' had planned to close some Frankie & Benny's, and Chiquito sites. No NEW news a year later that they are closing the one you are at, or any Wagamaga's!

Tips Darren are pooled in UK restaurants,same as US ones,so if you have 3 people serve you each will get an equal share at the end of the week,or month,depending what the restaurant has decided on.The udon looked very nice,and the steak was nicely cooked.😊

Shokupan in Leeds does amazing Japanese sandos and other dishes
TRG have been sold to a private Equity firm. No Wagamamas are closing. Most Chiquoto and Frankie will be closing or converted to other brands e.g. Wagamama

Me and my daughter saw the brilliant Doja Cat on Friday at the 02, we had the idiot burger and fries at Gordon Ramsey street food, best burger I’ve ever had. Your food looked so yummy, and how peaceful compared to when there’s an event on. So glad you are nearly better. My daughter had sudofed and did the steaming thing which cleared her ears.
I can recommend you visit my wife’s sister shop in Pattaya for red pork and noodles or rice when you go.

It's such a shame that they are closing down. They did great Far Eastern styled fusion food. My favourites were the chicken itame(sadly they dropped that from their menu a few years ago - it was quite spicy) and the gyoza dumplings. I loved the fact they used old fashioned bamboo chopsticks and the unique ordering system.
Still got Tampopo in Manchester and possibly London?

Unfortunately since Brexit even the good establishments are closing down, that’s what they voted for so we need to respect the ridiculous majority decision.

I do like a Wagamamas, however when you said this and showed that article that is not recent but from March of 2023!
Also it is well known they closed a lot of Chiquito chains across the UK last year 35 to be precise-and have 12 left in the UK.
As this was also when chain Prezzo is was closing sites, as well as some Wetherspoons pubs that did close as well. Which you knew about as well as it was all in media and uou spoke about it 🤷🏻♂
You shouldn't of done a video till you were back to normal.
Get yourself down Chinatown. Avoid these chains and Thai food in UK is generally not nice unless. Your eat at a Thai family's house.
Good god Wagamama is awful, I had one once, I can only describe the experience as the equivalent of eating a pot noodle and setting fire to my wallet.
