Keep the comparison videos coming. Thank you. Also, adding those typical buyer's situation decision factor scenarios was probably the most helpful. As you pointed out, today's buyers pre-learn about the equipment before entering the dealership.
I really like my CX2510. Its really nice how many different sized models they have available for different needs. Sometimes, i do wish I'd gone bigger, but considering my yard is only 50ft x 150ft, im happy with its size. Nice comparison 👍
Had a CX2510 and 3 months later I exchanged it for a CK2620 ... not looking back at all ... feel a lot more of a tractor for not much more money ... the medium gear is a must in my opinion !
I just went down to try a cx2510 and it was soo uncomfortable. My legs were bent up even with the seat all the way back plus the loader joystick was tight against my leg. The CK 2620 was very comfortable for me to drive an operate. That loader joystick on the cx2510 should be relocated. Probably go with the CK 2620 cab if the discounts get better at the end of season. Really wanted the smaller tractor so I could use all my current implements.
This was the very best comparison I have ever seen on both these tractors. Your knowledge of both and the ways you conveyed there differences was outstanding. And thanks to you. I know now what tractor to purchase. Thank you for all the time you put into this. And I hope you continue to do these types of videos and showcase a great product. If you were closer. I would purchase one from “you”, this weekend.
A detuned, larger displacement, more heavily built motor will last longer all things being equal. Plus torque over the range Weill generally be higher if the stroke is longer.
My dealer is adding the mid-PTO kit on my CK-2620 cab for only about $250 +tax when I get my 50 hour service, since you have to drain all the fluids anyway to do both. He's pre-ordering my front snowblower now (in June) because they are from Canada & it takes several months to get them delivered in he says. I'm so excited after my past winters with dinosaur broken down trucks with a twisted plow! I live at higher elevation on the ski hill road in northern WA. And now I can brush hog almost 35 acres of neglected fields from my ageing parents farm I just purchased. What a blessing to buy this tractor! The CX is nice for the mid PTO, but my hills are steep so I needed the extra steadiness of the bigger CK weight.
Hey marshll good review and (comparison) format. I was looking to upgrade from a CS2220 to a cab tractor and was looking at these 2's cab versions in December. I ended up with the CX cab and having seen your video I still think I would have chosen the CX. I was looking at the CK as I have both a NX/CS and thought about consolidating into 1 CK but it just doesn't do enough to replace a NX's lifting capacity and it's too big for turf/lawn work I do with CS. But if I can only have 1 tractor CK would be it.
Really nice demonstation video, you are very well versed and did a great job of comparing and contrasting these two tractors. With the rear fuel tank I assume the backhoe versions have a separate seat?
I can't decide if I should buy the cx2510 with the mower and have it as a "do it all" machine or save the 15k and buy a SCAG liberty with a 61" deck for mowing my 2 acres and buying one down the road without the mower but with the backhoe.
Great video Marshall. When I come out to Orchard Hill to buy my new CK with backhoe package, 'm going to ask for you. I think this will meet all my needs...after i add a set of forks and box scraper. Thank you.
Nice comparison video. These two tractors have the same 3A165 engine though. I don’t know why the CX literature mistakenly converts 1647cc to 87ci instead of 100ci.
If my hood on the CX wasn't that heavy plastic, it would probably have a bunch of tiny dents in it. The only problem I've had is the thin grill plastic with all those tiny vent holes, that all these tractors have in common.
At 4:45 you state the CK2620 has a larger engine than CX2510. I have the spec sheets, and based on them, I think this is incorrect. It appears they both use the 1647cc engine, and there's a typo on the CX2510 sheet that says it is 87 cubic inches. That's wrong. 1647cc is 100.5 cubic inches, same as the CK2620. But I could be wrong - if the spec sheets themselves are wrong.
This year (2024) come July I will have owned my CK27HST with cab. I upgraded from a Farmall C open station. IF I need to get another tractor it will be another CK. My only complaint is the seat. It is a back breaker. National Seating makes seats that will fit, just bring money.
As a CK 2620 HST owner I can tell you, it’s a little beast! Very capable machine
Oh, man - Marshall is finally wearing a mic. Awesome.

My only gripe with my CX was the lack of a retractable seatbelt! 😆Awesome machine.

Would you mind sharing your height and weight for comparison?

Word to the wise if you’re a fluffy guy that CX seat will pinch you on both sides. CK is definitely more fluffy friendly. 😉

The fuel primer is on the CX, just not on the filter. The filter is $20...not sure how that becomes a concern every 200 hours on a $20,000 machine.
I like that the CK20 engine is a larger De-tuned older style diesel engine if I got that correct. Seems like it would be a better engine option.

Hi, great video. I have a ck 2610 .. its a really good tractor, no issues. Looking at cx 2510 to put a front mount blower on now. Thanks

Excellent video as always! Great info on both for sure! Thanks so much!
It is a bit of a surprise to me that the larger tractor requires add on (read floor mat etc) features that come with the smaller model.
They make the SE version. The SE is NOT a cab only like the guy said. I have an open station CK3520 SE HST
Another great video. Thank you.
Wonderful tractors. I love my CS 2520
Kioti fixed the guard issue some time back. You can open the hood without leaning the grill guard forward.

Can you add a backhoe to both tractors ???
Yes you can! 6.5ft on CX 7.5FT ON CK
I thought with the redesign they were going to add an SE model to the CK2620 non cab variant like tyhe higher HP models have.
The 2510 looks better for me for High Tunnel use since its more compact.
I have a kioti 2610 and was wondering if you could tell me what size hydraulic top link I need?

What size rear snowblower can the CK2620 take. I know on avg. a 54 is the biggest on a 25 hp tractor.
Most 60-64" snowblowers can go on the CK2620 And work very efficiently
I have a 66 inch to match front bucket and it works flawlessly
Sooo if the CKs engine was tuned down……can it be tuned up? Hypothetically of course.
Yes .. hypothetically ... there would be lots of videos on youtube about it ... I would wait for the warranty to end first.
was the cx2510 engine ever in higher hp models before emissions became a thing ?
Can you get the CX2510HCB without the cab?
Can you turn it up to 29 horse power?
Is there a manual transmission option?
Is the CX hood plastic or fiberglass ?
Which tractor should I buy... Bought a kabuta lx 3310 and mx 5400.
save your Hey for horses -
Neither.
