eating less carbs fixes a1c this shows you that a1c is a bad marker for insulin resistance.. you need something like dry fasting and actually eating carbs without fat to start the healing journey

I reversed type 2 diabetes in 4mths as well, just through a low-carb/carnivore diet. I wasn't bad enough to be put on insulin or any medication for it, but still managed to reduce my A1C by 25% and back to normal levels. My doctor was amazed and asked how I'd done it. When I told her she basically said "ah, I'm not allowed to talk about that", but was interested enough to take the handful of links I'd saved

you reversed damage from diabetes, but a1c is not a good marker because you trick it by not ingesting carbs. if you ate carbs again you will go back to type 2 diabetes. Fixing it means you can eat carbs.. good luck
I wish my medical professionals were this enthusiastic about what I've managed to achieve by going low carb, remitting my diabetes, getting off blood pressures drugs, reversing my NAFLD, going from 80kgs down to 60kgs and my waist from 44" to 36", becoming metabolically healthy BUT they recommend statin because my TC increased, specifically my LDL, yet my trigs went down and my HDL went up. AND I recently had a Calcium scan (with contrast) done (I was 65 at the time) and it was ZERO. My GP told me that I am at a high risk of a heart attack; yet she even knowing that I am low carb she didn't even say anything about my diet and that I might consider looking at what I am eating to see if I might change something. The hospital diabetes dietician at the end of 2021 told me I wasn't eating enough carbs and would lose muscle; I've proven her wrong. BTW I am in Australia. I am very thankful for the information that is freely provided online. It's also good that, even though there are not many, we are starting to see an increase in the number of medical professionals that we can consult for help if we want/need it. The technology helps to make this happen too.

Same for my hubby! His diabetic doc NEVER said a word about his diet, never sent him to a dietician, she ONLY (as far as I could tell) had one objective ~ more, and more insulin. I by chance watched a video on here ~ Dr. Fung, who made so MUCH sense to me, that along with low carb, no sugar, no processed food, no eating after 7:30pm, we added in FASTING! Longest fast so far has been 72 hours. It truly is the very best kept secret to getting healthy and our docs are SO disappointed when we right before their eyes begin getting better!! My hubby was onboard all the way. When he told his diabetic doc, that his wife figured it all out, and began applying some principles, she learned from a Doctor, on of all places you tube, he then asked her WHY she’d never said word one about his diet. Her response?? “People don’t want to hear about ways to be well!?!” He looked at her stunned and said “well that’s a huge brush you paint your patients with, and to not even mention it to any of them is a huge disservice!” I cannot wait until he shakes free of her. We each have lost 75 pounds since last March, and have kept it ALL off. Given the insulin shortages right now in the USA, I’m not nearly as concerned if he couldn’t get his insulin, as I would be if he was still where he was in January of last year. Great work, congrats, keep up your successes, the best revenge is to be well, despite of their efforts to keep you sick! ❤️

My HbA 1c was 5.9 when I read book The Magnesium Miracle by Dr Carolyn Dean and began taking Magnesium Glycinate. Next year my HbA1c came to 5.3. Without changing anything (diet, exercise pattern etc.) Magnesium, Glycine, Beta Alanine ( precursor to Carnosine), Vitamin D, ALA, Berberine, Inositol, exercise, fiber all reduce blood glucose in a few months.

I have a video consultation with Dr Cywes in August. Been Ketovore for the last 9 months and have lost 45 lbs and metabolic health is improving. I'm 57 and found out in Feb I have heart disease (CAC score of 600, not caused by keto diet). My last bloodwork in April showed I'm still insulin resistant. Lipid NMR showed pattern B and indicates insulin resistance (at least that's what the LabCorp report says. I do wear a CGM. My blood glucose is usually between 85 and 130, averaging in the low 100's. Seems high to me. Fasting glucose is usually 95 to 115. Trying to figure this stuff out.

Been doing keto 7 and 1/2 months. Have reduced insulin from18 units a day to 8 units. Threw away Glipizide. But not able to reduce my Janumet. A1C reduced from 9.3 to 5.8. I am beginning to doubt that I can reverse this. I have lost 56 lbs and have optimal scans at the gym. Starting to feel reversal is not possible.
I haven’t met anyone who truly tried still had to take type 2 diabetes meds.

My hubby and I went basically KETO, last March, and each have lost 75 pounds. His readings no longer go over 135mg/dl. He’s been able to reduce insulin from 4 shots a day to 1 shot a day of 16 units at night. I’m beginning to think his doc is never going to take him off. There are odd occasions when he’ll have a random high reading, but in the last month the highest reading was 185, at night, and back down to 136 in the morning. We do lots of fasting, and really only get carbs from our veggies, and a bit of dairy. His A1C was 9.9 when we started (March of 2023), and gone down to 6 last time it was checked (April/2024). His glucose was 126 at the same visit. I think these doctors see their patients as meal tickets and don’t want them to be well. His doctor NEVER talked to him about his diet, or the amount of carbs he should be eating. When he showed up having lost 50 pounds she was stunned. Asked him how he did it, he told her his wife figured it out. I get so angry at her and how she has managed his treatment.
Go full carnivore for 30 days. I have heard that is the answer.
I’ve reversed my T2D but having insulin resistance to get to insulin sensitive is a much slower process. 😔

Do you work with people that have reactive hypoglycemia post gastric bypass? I was recently diagnosed by my endocrinologist and got a referral to a new bariatric dietician....but... with my past experiences with dietitians, no one has really helped me with anything bariatric surgery wise. So I may need to find someone who truly knows how to help control RH.

Eat fish as well, Salmon, Sardines, Mackerel & Tuna, plus chicken, much better
@@dryfastingclubit will not make you more insulin resistant when going carnivore. You should check out Dr Eric Westman and Dr Ken Berry. Stop eating the carbs that is overloading your system with sugar. I still do intermittent fasting but never extended fasts.
