      Europe will not survive if it falls back to paganism and idolatry, so while you think you up lifting Europe culture maybe just maybe you actuality destroying it by falling back in atavisms and romanticizing the pagan practices and glorifying it , it is one thing to study and try understand the old ways it is another to revive them on public scale, just take time and think about it .

    thats Svantevit. His temple was on the white cliff of cap Arkona.
    The temple was destroyed during the northern crusade around 1162.
    It was made by slavics who migrated into the germanic region around 400 ac.
    But all tribes and kings from other lands visited Svantevit, the god of war, to get answers.
    He was an oracle. Before every battle they came to ask for their destiny.
    As a gift, you had to give your sword to the monk, only he can enter the inner circle, and he put your sword in the belt of Svantevit.
    We've found very precious swords, with golden handles n stuff.
    You arent allowed to breath in the presence of Svantevit.
    Damn, i could continue talking for hours...

    Dover is in England, Perkunas is a god from the Baltics, for that reason it seems out of place.
    I am happy to see people move beyond Abrahamic faiths for sure though.

      The Celts thought the same thing when the Angles and Saxons brought Thunor to Britain, and the Anglo-Saxons thought it again when the Vikings reintroduced him as Thor. Perkunas and Thunor/Thor all represent the same deity anyway (Indo-European Perkwunos), and the gods can be found in all lands.

      Perkunas is the origin of the name Perkins which is a family that settled in Kent during Norman times. These people are descendants of the Baltic vikings. Perkunas has nothing but direct connection to this part of the world

    This was created by a dedicated and heroic man or woman! I really like the idea of not asking for permission or waiting to be acknowledged by the establishment as a 'valid' religion. Guerilla re- idolization of our landscape with the gods and goddesses of all of our indigenous indo European spiritual traditions is a fantastic idea and way to honor our ancestral deities.

      Could not agree more. It should become a trend for native americans as well. Re-placing the gods and shrines for their ancestors on the lands still occupied by the force that stole it from them. Would love to see Rushmore go back to its owners and the veneration of the invader leaders faces removed.

    • @trolltalwar
      @trolltalwar 11 місяців тому

      @@Tony-Anderson ok lets not go too far. according to this very logic, you should be supporting the abolition of germanic gods from the british isles. when the angles and saxons sailed to britain from the regions we now call denmark and germany, they pushed the native britons into wales and cornwall, and conquered what we now call england for themselves. the gods they brought with them from the mainland, among others, were donar (thunor), wotan (woden), and tiwaz (tiw). these are same gods found in scandinavia, which would evolve into who we know as thor (donar), odin (wotan), and tyr (tiwaz).
      the natives of the americas put up a valiant effort, but in the end they were ultimately defeated by an overall technologically and logistically superior force. they were conquered, and their culture was displaced. its happened a million times from the dawn of mankind to this very minute. we see similar events with the romans conquering most of the known world, the ottomans sacking constantinople and capturing anatolia (which they still hold to this day), and the golden hordes of the mongols sweeping west. people will conquer, or they will be conquered. this is the harsh reality of history and humanity.
      i am all for replacing abrahamic faiths with the pre christian indo european faiths, however, as europe is still european, and abrahamic religion is not european. i fully support people venerating their own heritage. lets just be careful about marxists infiltrating the ways and traditions of our ancient ancestors and perverting them with their agenda.

    As a Lithuanian I find it amusing that pagan culture is invading christian country:D Still there is few bits I want to add. First, Perkūnas connection to the seas is through legend of Jūratė and Kastytis (summary can be found here ua-cam.com/video/NGzqpA2sCq4/v-deo.html ). Second that bit about Mindaugas building cathedral in Vilnius is totally wrong, because he died 60 years before Vilnius established. Still nice to see Baltic shenanigans done on British soil, well done.

    People think they want these things to return but as a former practitioner myself i can say that common people will not like what is planned for them. They will not want to give the sacrifices required to maintain population balance etc.

    • @bunjijumper5345
      @bunjijumper5345 11 місяців тому

      What sacrifices are required? You mean human? Let us not forget that in 2 of the 3 Abrahamic faiths there are many practitioners who sadly conduct animal sacrifices.

    • @zammap
      @zammap 11 місяців тому

      Human sacrifices were ended by the ancient Greeks and Romans. It's what the Minotaur myth was about. Substituting an animal for a man. Besides that wars do all the human sacrificing any bloodthirsty god could want, you know like Jihad.

      @@rogerjamespaul5528I dont really understand your comment but I just think its weird reconnecting with pagan rituals through another regions interpretation, especially the ones further away from your own. Nothing particularly wrong with it on a personal level, but shouldn’t cultural sites represent the region they’re in? I’d find it weird if a Scandinavian country had a totem for a thunder god and it isn’t Thor.

      Perkūnas was a baltic god that derived from Perkwunas - an indo european thunder god. It was worshiped prior any modern European nation was born, before balts, scandinavians, slavs, germanic people...
      Baltic Perkūnas, Scandinavian Thor or Slavic Perun derived from the same god.
