Day is not the same as 24 hours, not in the past and not today. The earth is not about 6,000 years old and the Bible does not teach this. Hebrews 4:9-10: "There remains, then, a Sabbath-rest for the people of God; for anyone who enters God’s rest also rests from their works, just as God did from his." This tells us that the 7th day Each believer are to enter into day 7. Also there no "evening and morning" for the 7th day. As day 7 as not ended. Biblical Hebrew has a limited vocabulary, with fewer words compared to other languages, such as English or Spanish. This means words often have multiple meanings determined by context. Day - yom is commonly rendered as day in English translations, but the word yom can be used in different ways to refer to different time spans thus literally is: Sunrise to sunset Sunset to next sunset Time period of unspecified length. (long time span ). We use the word day the same today: In my grandfather’s day cars did not go very fast. I work the day shift. (Both are not 24 hours) Deuteronomy 33:15 and Habakkuk 3:6 "ancient mountains". “in the day that the Lord God made the earth and the heavens” The events of day 6 can not have happened in 24 hours. Creationism does not equal young Earth. There are many Old Earth creationists.
@@djsarg7451i don’t necessarily have a stance on old earth or young earth as it’s not relevant to my faith in Jesus but i would like to input some food for thought. if we believe in the biblical account of creation, then we believe that God made things that would’ve taken a lot more time to make. For example, when Adam was formed, he was a man, not a baby, and the earth was fully formed as well, and the stars light reached the earth, the furthest discovered star is 28 billion light years away so it would’ve taken that long for the light to reach us traveling at the speed of light but God made it happen in a moment. So it would lead me to believe that IF we were to test the earth to date how old it would be, it could result in something older that God made and set in a mere moment. Once again, i’m not on either side, I just thought this was a fun thought to introduce.
And let us not forget the coup de gras assertion so frequently employed by atheists when accounting for the fine tuning necessary for the existence of the manifest universe: ''It just did''. 'Just-Did-ism' is a very powerful religion. It allows the atheist to dismiss all the improbability of random actions culminating in observation of an ordered universe.
The problem is that both theists and atheists alike are under the assumption that the bible (KJV) teaches that this earth is God's first and only rodeo. 3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made >THAT WAS MADE
To me, it seems like nothing is what we perceive as death becoming nothing. So something coming from nothing is almost like nonliving becoming living. Different yes but the same concept. Take care
Classic clip, still relevant and educational, and from a great book.
Well done!
God always blows my mind !
Great presentation mr. Wallace, thank you!
Can I find this video translated to Spanish?
Good job.
It took 13.4 billion years to write the program. It took 6 days (looking like 7 days) to launch the program.

What does this mean?
Who claimed it was 7 days?
Who made the 7 day claim?
