Love love love this so much. Very well done. I’ve always wanted a chart like this and the “clear” and “cloaked” evidence through the lens of someone with your professional background makes it that much better. Very well done sir.
Thank you Mr. Wallace for the chronology and importance of prophecy and how each person gives us more and reliable information about Jesus's 1st coming. I've known next to nothing about prophecy's importance, and especially not considered when the descriptions were written/spoken to realize this was a careful flow from God to where the savior's appearance would be clear to all who search diligently, whether they looked forward or backwards in history for Jesus.
Great video. Some also say Daniel's "weeks" thing may get the timing even closer. I never understood that one though. Side issue, though: Can we stop pretending "BC" means before the "common era"? (Or that we're in CE versus the real term AD.) Not a big deal but why give unnecessary ground to an unreasonable revisionism?
QUESTION about you mentioning in Daniel dates and the decree for rebuilding of Jerusalem: Are you talking about the decree by Cyrus to rebuild the Temple in Book of Eza or Are you Talking about the decree by Artaxerxes to rebuild the city walls in Book of Nehemiah? The difference in those dates make a difference in the accuracy of the prophecy... Why should we trust the date on the city walls in Nehemiah instead of the date on rebuilding the Temple in Ezra? I ask because I have seen sceptics emphasize this difference.
The first time I ever read through the Old Testament, I saw Jesus in Isaiah’s suffering servant immediately. Technically, that’s God’s Suffering Servant, prophesied through Isaiah.
Thank you for this presentation.
Somewhere between "faith" and logic. Just not room for 'No' not enough to believe. Absolutely makes sense, thanks!!
