A cyclical universe makes far more sense than one single universe with one single big bang. There has to be something before the big bang, or there would be nothing to make a big bang with. Much of this is speculation on my part, as I am not a scientist, but it doesn't make sense to hang onto one single occurrence to happen. The universal monkey theorem is great, meaning that anything is eventual if you give it enough time, but the human mind can only imagine just so far. Great video.
In laymans terms, theyre making excuses in order to disprove creationalism cause science isnt supporting their beliefs. Like kids playing a game while one keeps changing the rules
Constructive Criticism: The transcript is quite imprecise, and unnecessarily confusing. Examples: 00:15 _"The common understanding was that the Universe underwent rapid expansion, before cooling down."_ You've given absolutely no context about the above scenario, most importantly: when did all of this occur? I assume after the Big Bang, but, er...no data / info to go on leaves the viewer feeling a bit lost. 00:20 _"Then, the first stars and galaxies started to form, during a time we call The Dark Ages."_ What did the stars and galaxies form out of? A brief primer on hydrogen gas clouds forming / growing due to gravity, coalescing into stars, the creation of heavier elements via the solar life cycle, from a starting point of a single element (hydrogen) accounting for all matter in the Universe. 00:37 _"And in some cases, even more mature than astronomers had anticipated."_ Astronomers, or theoretical physicists? 00:40 _"Which raises one of several possibilities."_ It doesn't raise *_one_* of several possibilities; it raises *_several possibilities._* If you think I'm being picky, pls remember, the topic is *_astrophysics_* ;p 00:50 _"Apparently, this finding of ancient galaxies..."_ Is it a finding, or a hypothesis, at this stage...? 01:30 _"Astronomer Vesto Slipher noticed some nabluae were moving away rapidly."_ What are nebulae? What are they moving rapidly away from? (The centre of the Universe? Hogwarts? Cupertino? Mordor? The Bat Cave?) Who was Vesto Slipher...a Slitherin Professor, perhaps? A Harkkonnen Mentat? An agent of Ming, from planet Mongo? By what means did this nebulous Slipher character determine the vector of these so-called _"nebulae;"_ was necromancy or foul sorcery ruled out?
Black holes are cosmic vacuums that suck away this universe and reduce the matter into a pin point of matter that reopens later beyond the event horizon to create a new expansion (AKA the big bang in the new universe). This supports the reason every center of galaxy clumps have a blackhole in their center.
So, this is truly fascinating. This isn't the first time that a cyclical theory of the universe and our beingness has been proposed. Back in the early centuries of Buddhist thought, (2nd & 3rd cent of european dating), two incredible Indian philosophers, Nagarjuna and Vasubandhu, offered a cosmalogical understanding of the impermanence of all things that also go through the stages of being conceived, born, grow, age, decline, and pass. This includes the vast universe itself. The time frames of the different cycles within cycles were described as kalpers, epochs and aeons. Seems as though science has caught up in a mini circle.

What even is "nothing"? Since we live in a Universe where everywhere we look something exists, we've actually no idea what "nothing" is. Therefore, how can we pretend to know anything about it?
If the definition of "nothing" is the absence of every and anything, then it concludes everything had to come from nothing. I don't agree with that hypothesis but there is no other viable option other then everything is eternal and infinite which does not necessarily require any anthropomorphic robe dudes.

Why is it so hard for ppl to realize there is something FAR GREATER than us?? There is endless evidence of non physical, highly intelligent entities that exist and they're not from the 3rd dimension. I believe human arrogance is so vast that we must be at the top of the food chain so we're desperately trying to disprove the puppet master. The smartest man that ever lived said, "the only thing we know for certain is that we know nothing at all." The truth is so insanely BIZARRE that humans aren't capable of grasping even the surface. In fact, this world we reside in is an illusion. Particles appear and act as if they're aware. It's known that if our universe had one more or one less particle life could not exist. Thanks. Excellent video. Intuitively I have always disliked a non-cyclical universe. This idea agreasxwith all we know at this time and yet has no beginning.
i agree with the cyclic universe concept. after the stars all that will be left is black holes. when the black holes start merging they reach a certain mass called a singularity. that singularity explodes creating a new universe until the black holes merge again and create another.
@@stellarwind1946 then how do you explain supermassive blackholes??? how do you explain ligo readings that point to a black hole??? yes black holes radiate away at a super slow rate, like trillions of years. however black holes can still merge together and form the supermassive blackholes like the one at the center of the milky way.
The BIG BANG is just one of infinite explosions of Black Holes. Not all blow up, like stars they have many types and life cycles. The ones that do well and eat many thousand galaxies get to a point that singularity becomes impossible. I believe the center of all Black Holes rotate at the speed of light.

I agree in principle with Sir Roger, in that the universe is continually expanding, but I see it as happening in similar fashion to nuclear chain reactions. That is to say, radioactive isotopic atoms seldom happen alone in nature, there are always more scattered around the same general area. The same must be true for the primordial singularity which led to " the big bang". Eventually a stray "neutron" (galaxy) is going to approach a massive blackhole at just the right angle to "split the atom" ( cause a big bang)...
Just because it was incredibly unlikely that the universe is balanced for consciousness to evolve, does not mean or even suggest there was an architect. An infinity multiplied by anything, no matter how vanishingly improbable, is still a certainty.
I love watching science so desperately try to disprove creationism. What you fail to realize is there are at least 8 dimensions with some saying possibly more. The chance that this all just happened is equated to throwing a dart from the moon to the earth and splitting a particular grain of sand exactly in half. There is solid evidence of beings, "intelligent beings" that aren't physical. Typical close minded scientists today claim it's a manifestation from our own mind. Ohhhhhhhh, okeeeeey! In fact it's far more bizarre to say we won a 1:999,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 chance than to say there is something far greater than us (the Master scientist) that started an Ant colony......
This is a misunderstanding of what infinity means. There are infinite numbers between 1.0 and 2.0. Literally, could count for all of existence and never cross the threshold of reaching 2.0 as you count the decimals in between. Its possible "Life/Consciousness" exists, in that scenario, at number "4.0". Infinity does not mean all possibilities will eventually be realized. There are infinite numbers between every number. You could have a universe that encompasses the "infinite" between 1.0 and 2.0; and it never reaches the infinite of "4.0-4.1", where consciousness could be created. Infinity does NOT mean every possible permutation of infinity is ever achieved. Its much more restrictive than you would think.
Hi there, I've two questions to ask. When they state galaxies are moving away from us...how do they know it's not us moving from them and what if any difference could that make ? Ty 😊
Math at our current level of understanding is most likely an approximation of what actually happens. Singularities, infinity, the concept of of zero could be approximations of what happens at a limit. We have so much left to know it may never happen.
Thank you "Beyond Ideas" for this excellent and informative video! When we look into the extreme depths or into the initial epoch of our then baby universe, the whole mystery begins. But only because we have previously assumed the theory of an extreme expansion explosion (big bang) out of a singularity. In the meantime, there are much better and more plausible ideas (or theories) for this initial epoch. I was never really convinced by the big bang idea and have always looked for other alternatives. And I found them: I am one of the pioneers of bounce cosmology. I assume that our universe is NOT a one-off process, but has been moving within its cycles for a long time. So there are most likely predecessor universes that came into being and died as in every evolutionary cycle - Cycle 1: the young (baby) universe - cycle 2: the expanding universe - cycle 3: the contracting universe - cycle 4: end (death) cycle with a massive collapse of matter. - after that, the universe renews itself and goes through these 4 cycles again. We still have to research how exactly this renewal process works, but quasars and supermassive black holes seem to play a crucial role here. Our current universe is a mature, almost perfect really gigantic structure that has continued to develop over time and its evolution. Today we can say that it is a miracle and a masterpiece... 🌠
Sounds phonetically close to the Floresian's Dialect: Bike= Break; Beng= Separation. Bike Beng means " Separation in either Place, or Space that was caused by certain Breaking". And this can also be applied, I think, in terms of the Universe. There were No any Dispersal entities like today's forms of universe, only there were That Single Cosmos and only a few Giant Stars. Thank you
I don't know much except what feels right....and this feels correct to me. And if so.....then it just makes sense that every eon continually repeats itself! It has to! Hense, "eternal life" as the Bible says! Also,..... As we've ALL heard ...." Everything is exactly as it's supposed to be at this moment." 💥
1. Creator argument is easily countered by the fact it creates a never-ending loop. If the universe needs a creator, then the creator needs one too, hence the loop. And if creator doesn't need a creator, then neither does the universe, hence no need for creator. Further basing this idea on a man-made house example doesn't work. Universe in no way resembles a man-made structure, but rather a natural structure like a Giant Causeway. Geometric true, but random in its nature. Nothing about the house or clock is random. 2. The argument that complex stuff can't emerge by chance is easily countered by the fact you mentioned in your video. Given enough time, every single microscopic combination imaginable can emerge by chance. For example getting a self replicating nanobe to emerge by chance on some planet in the observable universe is pretty likely given enough time. And once you have this, complex life evolves pretty rapidly on cosmic timeframe causing all sort of emergence. 3. The universe might not be as special as we think it is. It could be just a grain of sand in a far larger web, where most are completely empty or chaotic. Ours is habitable because we can't emerge in any other. Or it's the only one, but most cycles are chaotic and we can emerge only in the habitable ones. This is called weak anthropic principle. 4. I'm not saying there is no god, just that these are not very good arguments for existence of god. The most compelling argument for god is that the universe is in the process of becoming self conscious, which by all means would make it a god of all, and of course if time is just another dimension such god is already present. But this isn't appealing to religions, because it's conditional on a set of scientific assumptions that can easily turn to be untrue.
Even with all this knowledge we still die and stop existing. If we can focus our time and energy in mastering and spreading the knowledge of love, then life is truly worth living.🙂
@@ashleyobrien4937 Question is, why are you so convinced it's impossible? We are parts of the universe that have become conscious. You can easily expand on that, unless you're completely devoid of imagination..
I dissagree with you but not for reason you would think. I am a totally scientific Atheist and believe that Gods (1200 approx) are made up my man from fear and for control (works well!!) haha .You mention the argument that a God would need its own start or creator but if they were actually real, then they make everything so to our limited brain capacity, they dont have beginning as they make and are the beginning just as the BB cant have time before the start of time/space. Personally a god is problematic as counter to what i just said, a God is actually real in some way and tangible, WOULD have to have a sort of explanation and THUS like you say a backstory? So your argument and mine are 50/50 split? Of course, our universe or section of it ? could have been created by super advanced alien (s) almost same abilities of a what a God as we understand could do. Man is already gettign close to AI, Cloning humans (complex) and working on bending space so to avoid max speed limits of light speed in real time space. So the latest JWT and others are finding wrong age galaxies and also questioning if it was a BB start and not a sort of continuation of sorts which i always lent towards. I think ours is current on or parallel with others just as stars and planets are made so plentiful and killed too by their suns and roving back holes we have found now. BB may have to rewritten a bit but ideas of slavery gods and 6000 year old earths are long gone and creation is at same level as flat earth believers and as a pilot, earth is very ROUND and pain to navigate sometimes. Nothing is in stone and what you have could easily at least in part be the real facts. A god would be definition have to ALL everything OR it would need its own time going back . God would have to be a BB stand alone with no anything and that is not only very hard for many to get their head around but it goes very deep into physics and problems that cause problems as we understand how the universe works , but my explanation on that would take a while and gets really messy in the logic so one science vs 10,000 faiths all different is enough to make the point i think.. I honestly dont know if you or me or someone else is right and it may be much more difficult to quantify so simply..
It is correct. All same universe … the loss of mass in one eon becomes singularity for next eon. The fact that we should soon find gravitational waves that originated before approximate big bang shows all eons are interconnected. Same universe. Maybe we’re saying the same thing, 😅
Question, do you personally think that we’re closer to big unanswered questions in our current lifetimes or are we looking at a situation where these questions will not be answered for hundreds of years? Taking into account, the growth of our knowledge within the last hundred years
Question: If we believe that a new big bang happens once the conditions are ready by total molecular frequency stoppage (everything at total extreme cold), is there any energy loss from one big bang to another? If that's the case, it would mean that eventually, Big Bang activity will have 0 energy. However, if the energy increases, there would be no room for the universe to completely stop. So the energy from one big bang consists of the same energy. As we know, energy can neither be created nor destroyed. It can only be transferred from one form to another. If all energy has stopped in our universe, that energy has to be transferred to the beginning of the universe to take place after ours.
Well I can't answer that much but I can't tell you that I have came across some information saying that once we have basically become extinct that and approximately 375 billion years or some crazy ass number the everything should essentially start over again and all that we won't be even close to probably the same human structures that humans are pretty much live again or whatever you want to call a human lol. Maybe life forms would be a better way of saying it
if my understanding is correct, then Penrose is basically saying we can never know the true origins so what this might just be is playing around with mathematical equations to sell some books
@@pondeifywell it’s not really a secret that the big bang theory is just.. a theory. A theory that’s the most close to proving the origin of earth/our milky way.
The only way for me to imagine that the universe was just "perfect" in it's creation, enough to neither collapse nor evaporate, is that whatever came before it must have had *alot* of time to make it so.
There is nothing about the universe that suggests perfection. A great deal of wasted potential and stars collapsing. Incredible voids and radioactivity. Danger and chaos everywhere you look. Nothing appears to be created with life in mind. Even the majority of our planet is inhospitable to human life. On one hand you can argue that its complexity is hard to reconcile as random. On the other hand it certainly doesn’t appear to be designed with love or life in mind.
@@kaalen24okay it wasn’t designed around love? Literally no one said it was but it certainly exists just like radiation exists, all possibilities exist and free will exist.. I’m not sure we watched the same video but did you see penrose’s equation and every other example showing how absolutely improbable it is that our universe with these conditions could arise. It certainly doesn’t point to it being random, open like not once in this video was random even mentioned.. yet you seem to think it is.. rewatch the video bc you weren’t able to wrap your head around the topic, open your mind to more possibilities than holding solely onto yours, especially in the face of contradictory evidence…
@@DeecentAnimal Most people believe humans and the universe was created as an act of love. I was not directly quoting the video as you keenly picked up on. I’m stating that the vast wastefulness of the universe, all the planets and areas that don’t appear to be capable of creating or sustaining life is a clue that perhaps none of this has our well being or best interests factored in. There is a great deal of life that is random and I think the universe is clearly operating similarly. I don’t see goals or objectives. I certainly don’t see divine order or the semblance of a plan. And I don’t need to watch the video again to have these observations.
@ Btw, my viewpoint that you claim is falsified by “evidence” is the same view the majority of scientists share and they are keenly aware of the best evidence.
And what's more, just because the universe is "fine-tuned" doesn't guarantee our existence (as stated in the video). Our existence depends on our own star and the elements that it has conducive for our form of life not to mention all the various branches of life throughout geologic history.
Without the fine-tuning, there would be no such star or anything else. If the gravitational constant were even slightly larger, an American flag across the street would look yellow and blue and if you walked over to it, you could never return for infinity. There would be no one around to even see it. Of course, that's not all it takes, as you point out. But one mistake most make it considering "life" to be somehow different from any other self-replicating, complex system. That concept is a legacy of our religious superstitions and an impediment to exploration since we are looking for ourselves only.

For all we really know we are stretching and squashing or vice versa and don’t notice it either. If everything was shrinking in the universe it would appear that it was expanding and everything was getting further from everything else. To me it seems either space is linked with time enough that as time passes, it drags space with it causing its expansion, or all visible matter is shrinking. I think things shrinking is simpler than space expanding but with all that we don’t understand about the quantum world, simpler may not be the truth.

Black holes are cosmic vacuums that suck away this universe and reduce the matter into a pin point of matter that reopens later beyond the event horizon to create a new expansion (AKA the big bang in the new universe). This supports the reason every center of galaxy clumps have a blackhole in their center.
For the individual Photon, The Universe is truly static

Nothing can exist before existing.
But is "nothing" really something? Does "existing" refer to a limited but also a specific state?
What even is "nothing"? Since we live in a Universe where everywhere we look something exists, we've actually no idea what "nothing" is. Therefore, how can we pretend to know anything about it?
That's the conundrum....
If the definition of "nothing" is the absence of every and anything, then it concludes everything had to come from nothing. I don't agree with that hypothesis but there is no other viable option other then everything is eternal and infinite which does not necessarily require any anthropomorphic robe dudes.
Only G-d exists. Everything else had a beginning.
We fail to understand infinity, like it’s beyond human comprehension. We fail to understanding infinite velocity, another thing we fail to comprehend.

Over a long enough time span, any degree of precision is not just plausible, but inevitable, and does not require a creator.
The smartest man that ever lived said, "the only thing we know for certain is that we know nothing at all."
The truth is so insanely BIZARRE that humans aren't capable of grasping even the surface. In fact, this world we reside in is an illusion. Particles appear and act as if they're aware. It's known that if our universe had one more or one less particle life could not exist. Haven't you noticed weird changes that don't make sense? The Mandela effect. The created illusion is making mistakes and I believe on purpose.

i agree with the cyclic universe concept. after the stars all that will be left is black holes. when the black holes start merging they reach a certain mass called a singularity. that singularity explodes creating a new universe until the black holes merge again and create another.
Black holes don’t merge in an expanding universe. They radiate away.

Mr.Penrose read the Upanishads to get the ideas.
But depends on a small improbable eventuality. What could you call that? Yeah. Something. A hp or architect of sorts.
@@ck58npj72 life? Irrelevant. this is about the existence of this universe.

Singularity is THE home. Each person has its singularity Home!

My opinion is the universe we know is not the only one in our space and time. Multiple singularities existed before our universe existence.
Great content/video! Subbed. This is basically "what came first, the chicken or the egg"?, but with space and time.
So there are most likely predecessor universes that came into being and died as in every evolutionary cycle -
Cycle 1: the young (baby) universe - cycle 2: the expanding universe - cycle 3: the contracting universe - cycle 4: end (death) cycle with a massive collapse of matter.
Also consider multiple simultaneous universes, like a tree. All bouncing. @@thekingofmojacar5333

Beneath the Planck length is the code of the matrix.

What I'd like to know is -> is universe expanding in some direction faster than some other direction, or is the expanding equal in every direction?

Photons are the remaining things left in the universe when everything else disappears @6:19. This is interesting as God is light
Its really easy to understand. Everything started with a singularity and then the bang came. Tgis means everything came from a big big black whole that sucked up everything that existed around it before. This does not mean the singularity was the only thing existet. The universe is so big that the same thing could happen a zillion times everywhere.
I wouldn't call that really easy to understand, but sounds plausible.
Singularities are dual -- positive curvature is dual to negative curvature.
The big bang is a negative curvature singularity!
Space is dual to time -- Einstein.
The past (everything) is dual to the future (nothing) -- Time duality.
We know everything about the past as we have experienced or measured it and we know nothing about the future as it has not happened yet -- everything is dual to nothing synthesizes something (the present).
Cause is dual to effect -- causality or correlation.
"Physics is what we know and metaphysics is what we do not know" -- Bertrand Russell.
Synthetic a prior knowledge -- Immanuel Kant.
Knowledge is dual.
A posterior or after measurement (the past) is dual to a priori or before measurement (the future) -- Immanuel Kant.
Physics (a posteriori, empirical) is dual to mathematics (a priori, rational).
Physics is created from empirical observations or measurements -- knowledge (duality).
The present is created from the past and the future via duality as time is dual.
Absolute time (Galileo) is dual to relative time (Einstein) -- time duality.
My absolute time is your relative time and your absolute time is my relative time -- time duality.
Time is a dual concept.
"Always two there are" -- Yoda.
Physics (the past) is dual to metaphysics (the future) -- the future by definition is metaphysical.
Thesis (the past) is dual to the anti-thesis (the future) creates the converging or syntropic thesis, synthesis (the present) -- the time independent Hegelian dialectic.
Duality creates reality.
Out of Universe and human bodies is Infinite space, the light particle of softness, the imperceptible image of Creator who is the one uncreated and exist eternally.
Ecclesiastes 3:15 KJV, If you have questions see James 1:5 KJV - - - enough said!
Amen
We are in 1 big bang among billions and that's why we will always find something outside of our universe because it's only one part of billions of parts in what is really the universe
50 years ago the scientists didnt know there were other galaxies, today science is still in dipers of knowledge
Diapers of knowledge
@@Sharperthanu1 And dipers too!! haha But latest data from JWT and others are casting doubt on what we thought we knew and that mess out there could have been around for a really long time or simply extends or adds more universes. Days of gods and 6000 years and all that ignorance is long gone and especially now with universe could be 100 billion years old, we simply dont know if it multiversed or new universe are born ? just as stars here are and planets and life. Scary question is alfter all that, when /what was the beginning is there was something like that our ape brains and understand? Our BB time/space started, but that might not have been the start point , just a temp start point from last end so it could go back or others could join up and expand put making new universes and even physics for hundreds of billions of years. we simply dont know right now.
You realize 50 years ago was 1974? Think back another 50 years to 1923. That’s when we discovered other galaxies. I do agree with you though, science is still in diapers
We have known about galaxies since the 17th century
Lot more science deniers these days 😢
It may seem as if I'm picky but actually do enjoy watch the videos, thank you. Just didn't want to be misunderstood.
Watching these programs replaces the brain cells you destroy by watching tiktok.
creation is a loop! Creators are going further & further into the distant past & filling emptiness by turning it into space & filling it with creation! Sincerely the senior foundation creator! Note: I am not Larry!
No one knows and probably will never know it's all theory nothing more nothing less
People used to think flying and landing on the moon were impossible😂
Hypothesis...
The universe is infinite and eternal.
Maybe space doesn’t notice the difference in size in the way that photons don’t notice the passage of time
Really good video
Glad you liked it!
24:36 why can't i be in the universe when the rangers beat the panthers last year?
.. is there a way i can get to that universe?
.. i want a helicoptor, too. Nothin' crazy, like a fully loaded apache., id take the local news helicopter.
Why can't I be in a universe where the Oilers beat the Panthers this year 😒
Wow, you fellas dream big lol😊
The bang happened all.around so what we see beyond the bang point is moving the other way .... Every galaxy also has a bang point as our universe has a central bang point or creation-point. Just as there are energy holes to keep things balanced in the various regions to keep an expansive constant and a framework that is predictable in itself regulation. The universe is alive...Inhale exhale!
You cannot create or destroy matter, its forever ! NASA 14 BILLION, THE MAHABARATHA OF INDIA, THE UNIVERSE IS 330 YEARS OLD ALOT BETTER THAN NASA. I THINK THE UNIVERSE HAS NO BEGINING AND HAS NO END. LIKE MATTER ITS FOREVER.
Your Vedas are dum.
Stop yelling.
No, the Vedas are wrong.
I like to believe in a cyclic universe,I like this idea. I think it is not just cycles but cycles of ever increasing complexity, would that idea fit into this hypothesis?
"Dark ages" is when you have a black out for a moment, olst while another world plays out in this same space/space for 1000 years, to you its a few seconds but its a very long time, untill the other worlds have passed and comes back to the world you originated out of, each time your world goes out and comes back new thing's are added, you don't realize it because the date is transferred to you, you'll understand and never really question anything.
I always guestioned the Big Bang, from the start. Years later to learn there's no sound in space. Can it simply be an unraveling?
INTERESTING@15:43; this makes sense of the mysticism about reincarnation ~ another example of cyclical events
Ancient Sanskrit hymn goes like this:
Om Puurnnam-Adah Puurnnam-Idam Puurnnaat-Puurnnam-Udacyate |
Puurnnasya Puurnnam-Aadaaya Puurnnam-Eva-Avashissyate ||
Om Shaantih Shaantih Shaantih ||
Meaning:
1: Om, That (Outer World) is Purna (Full with Divine Consciousness); This (Inner World) is also Purna (Full with Divine Consciousness); From Purna is manifested Purna (From the Fullness of Divine Consciousness the World is manifested),
2: Taking Purna from Purna, Purna indeed remains (Because Divine Consciousness is Non-Dual and Infinite),
3: Om, Peace, Peace, Peace.
Great Video, One last question is "Has Forever already existed ?'. ...
I like this allot
As we all aware
My Theory is that when the universe was initially expanding, IE inflation, it didn't just suddenly stop expanding, it gradually slowed down, then sped up again, would this not lead to time dilation, as in when the universe was inflating things happened very fast (galaxy formation ect) so that may be why we see fully formed universes when it was previously not expected? I'm an amateur, so please be gentle 😊
Did he just say when the protons reach infinity?
I think this may be why dictionaries were invented, maybe. Okay, you calculate the exact last digit of PI and then
Get back to me, big guy.
how comes that in the example in this video it is said the photons travel from the source to another point 'instantanious'
but the light (photons) from sun to earth need 8 minutes?
Does this math only work with flashlights?
Google "double slit experiment".....
I imagined how galaxy's got to be where they are now, just like every other idea, maybe they are there own big bangs
Chapter 51 Verse 47 :”And the sky we constructed with hands, and indeed, we are the expander.”
2:31
Can anyone imagine, pure nothingness, zero of everything? I tried it and it made mentally and physically sick. 🤢
6:15 That ol coot Roger Penrose oughta know what he’s talking about cuz he’s so old he WAS there at the big bang! 😅
More videos about the photon and our photon-denominated understanding of reality!!
NASA will give you the perfect fake!
This universe is only the exit emissions of the mother of all black holes🎉🎉
For all we really know we are stretching and squashing or vice versa and don’t notice it either. If everything was shrinking in the universe it would appear that it was expanding and everything was getting further from everything else. To me it seems either space is linked with time enough that as time passes, it drags space with it causing its expansion, or all visible matter is shrinking. I think things shrinking is simpler than space expanding but with all that we don’t understand about the quantum world, simpler may not be the truth.
15:39 Not crazy at all . I proposed just such a thing and sent it to Stephen Hawking's
office back in the late 90's, after HE said it was ridiculous to think "Before the Big Bang" !! ...Such Hubris 😆😃
