  • Quite useful where a somewhat less powerful stream of water is needed for around the house, garage, anywhere a full-blown power washer would be overkill. Can use municipal water from your hose or can draw water from a 5 gallon pail. Has 5 foot draw, 104F maximum water temperature can be used. Retails for around $199. worx.com

    Looks like that would be pretty handy for watering the flowers.

    Thank you so much for your review. We needed something to use where we don't have power. I think this would work well, especially if we use a cannon with a good cleaner.

      I hope it works out for you. It's not as powerful as a pressure washer, but it can be quite helpful especially if you don't have power or an accessible water supply

    Nice review. How would you compare the Worx Hydroshot to the Jimmy JW31 for washing cars?

    Can you attach a garden hose to the Worx 40 volt Hydro shot?

    I just got mines I'm having trouble of the lance leaking from the unit when I connect it not sure why

    • @michaelerbreviews
      @michaelerbreviews  5 років тому

      Kevin Gadson Mine doesn’t leak at all. Make sure that you have it firmly seated in before you let the sleeve lock it into place. Also make sure that the O-ring isn’t missing or dislodged somehow

    • @kevingadson9315
      @kevingadson9315 5 років тому

      I just figured it out it was the lance that is bad the connector on the end isn't right both the grooves are the same size one is supposed to bigger than the other so it doesn't line up right going to contact customer service

      @@kevingadson9315 Both grooves on the handle are the same size on mine. The lance end has two sort of rectangular tabs that fit into the grooves of the handle. You push in firmly then twist 1/4 turn to lock it in place. My previous answer was somewhat incorrect as I was referring to the hose attachment to the handle. Sorry for the confusion.

    These rechargeables are great but i much prefer electrical corded ones. They r better value as they r so much cheaper and they provide superior psi or bars and thats why i buy pressure cleaners in the first place.
    Anyways, great detail breakdown and thanks for sharing with us.

      I don't disagree. But there are situations where there is no AC power and no running water. So this will work where an AC powered device would be worthless.

    How long does the battery last on one charge?

  • @Trillville43
    @Trillville43 5 років тому

    Good review but there is a better deal charger that will charge 2 in 1hr for around $50 if it matters to you or your invested into worx products

    • @michaelerbreviews
      @michaelerbreviews  5 років тому

      So you are suggesting buying the bare tool and getting the charger separately? This charger/battery came with the unit.

    What can you spray? Is it water only? No one says.

    • @michaelerbreviews
      @michaelerbreviews  5 років тому

      You spray water. If you want to spray detergent there is an optional inline attachment for that. But the power washer itself is only for water.

    Great review, I just dont think it has enough power for my needs.

    • @michaelerbreviews
      @michaelerbreviews  5 років тому +1

      That very well may be true. It's for less demanding cleaning tasks for sure. But the fact that it takes up very little space when it's not being used and can operate on battery power and a bucket of water makes it quite useful for me.

    I am sending mine back it only lasted 10 minutes the unit itself is great I like the power but it does not last at all. I need longer batter time 30 min would be nice I would like 40 or 50 min realistically but 10 just is annoying and I don’t want to buy 3 sets of batteries and chargers.

    • @michaelerbreviews
      @michaelerbreviews  5 років тому

      sabrina earth angel I’m not trying to defend worxs in any way, but the batteries should definitely last longer than 10 minutes. Have you gone through several full charge complete discharge cycles?

    • @Serena_Bella_111
      @Serena_Bella_111 5 років тому

      Reviews, Tutorials & Tech oh yes I have I was thinking I might have a bad charger I love the machine I just need more than 10 minutes i let them fully run out then I fully charge them about 4 times it was so quick just about 10 minutes each time. So I am just going to send it back and buy one that I can plug in then I won’t have that issue I just like the portability of it and the knowing how much water I was using. They should give an option to plug it in if you are near an outlet this way you have battery or electric power then it would be perfect.

      @@Serena_Bella_111 I get 15 minutes and maybe a few more. It doesn't last that long but for the small types of jobs I do it's OK.

    • @michaelerbreviews
      @michaelerbreviews  5 років тому

      sabrina earth angel by the way, it should take one hour per battery to fully charge from depleted. So in other words it takes two hours to charge both batteries simultaneously.

    • @Serena_Bella_111
      @Serena_Bella_111 5 років тому

      Reviews, Tutorials & Tech yes I waited the next day on one charge like I said the unit itself was great just the battery like and I did a few small jobs on being the tiles in my bath room granted my entire bath room is tiled but I was just doing the shower spa are and i only got half done took the whole day lol.
