What cute bags, Victoria! I hadn’t heard of Strathberry before. I just watched a couple of your other Strathberry reviews and I am going to look them up. Thanks so much for sharing.
I find the cheque book hilarious. In Australia cheques are basically being phased out. I haven’t seen a cheque in years and I’m sure I’ll see then abolished in my lifetime.
Keep the red city! Lovely color of red and really nice profile. It's hard to tell on the video, but it also looks like it may have a smoother leather than the others? Really great review; thank you!
Does the lack of interior pockets bother you? I prefer to keep my phone and keys in interior pockets so I’m leaning towards the Leo et Violette bucket for that reason. It also opens fully. But it also looks more casual.
@@accountingforluxury Epilogue: I was *thisclose* to pulling the trigger on the Midi and then Strathberry dropped the Dome collection the other day. That bag doesn't have either of the issues that bug me about the Lana Osette and it's basically a leather Alma GM with a strap for half the price of a canvas LV. I think it has better daily driver potential so I ended up ordering the Dome Midi in tan. Since I was going to buy the Lana Osette in burgundy, I think I'll save that purchase for fall or winter.
Thanks for the review! I have to be honest-the Osette closure strap design isn’t working for me. It unintentionally resembles something a bit inappropriate, which takes away from the overall appeal. A redesign could really fix that!
I don’t have the dome or done mini because I don’t live where the strap clips it on. I know it has to go on the sides with how the handle functions but aesthetically I prefer the alma.
I’d say it’s in the “modern luxury” category. It’s actually on par or better quality than some of the bags I’ve had and seen from the true luxury houses. It’s definitely above designer brands like coach, demillier, etc.
@ *lvguci* You are so well-informed about luxury accessories and bags. You've obviously done your due diligence and the comparison to the US is very informative...because of course, I live in New York. thank you very much.
Super helpful video, seeing them on and knowing your size was very helpful too!! Thanks :)
Glad you found it useful!

They’re a fabulous brand!
Honestly such cute bags & I’m slowly starting to come around to bucket bags!
I think they do the bucket bag really well!

I rarely ever use checks but basically always have my check book for the odd times I need one 😂

I definitely agree the grain looks smoother on the red, although they feel similar so it may just be the way the leather took the darker color?
Love all 3. I actually have the larger of the 4 in black and love it. I think I need to add the red also ❤. But the green is so cute Tough choice
Strathberry does make choices hard with so many colors 😂

@@jaymedeerwester4843 it doesn’t bother me but I also rarely keep things in pockets.

@@jaymedeerwester4843 I literally messaged Strathberry a couple weeks ago asking about the “alma style bag”! I love the small navy croc version 💙
This is such a chic, elegant and understated bag!
what colour do you think would be most versatile for year around? Thank you x
Personally I like the Diamond/Duck Egg Blue/Bottle Green tricolor or the tan color.
Thank you! Can this fit a small umbrella?
@tinakris7893 I don’t have the larger one anymore but a small one would probably fit.

😳😳😳
Keep the red and green. The big one is redundant…..in my opinion lol
I couldn’t even think of what to add in to the big one to fill it 😂
Whats the color of the largest one? Oat vanilla?
Oat and mushroom if memory serves.
Do you have the dome mini?
I don’t have the dome or done mini because I don’t live where the strap clips it on. I know it has to go on the sides with how the handle functions but aesthetically I prefer the alma.
Which one did you keep??
The red! I can always get the smaller Osette later, but I’m so happy with my choice!
I can’t choose, I like all of them.
I ended up picking the red because I loved them all but my family had a strong preference on the red :)
The red is beautiful. It’s a very sleek, simple design which sits well against the body. Enjoy!
I just purchased the red one myself and can’t wait for it to arrive!!
Whats a bastia?
it’s a small pouch from Hermes.
Strathberry is not really luxury ...
I’d say it’s in the “modern luxury” category. It’s actually on par or better quality than some of the bags I’ve had and seen from the true luxury houses. It’s definitely above designer brands like coach, demillier, etc.
