Leslie is one of my favorite characters ever. Lawful Good to the core. She’s also flawed and a bit dogmatic. Everyone on this show is an interesting character.
You know that "the government" isn't a thing, right? Government is a blueprint, a model, nothing more. How it is implemented depends entirely on constantly changing elected officials and constantly evolving rules and laws. Saying you distrust "the government" is like getting food poisoning in a restaurant and deciding you don't trust plates.

We only see Tammy 1 once on the show and we get to see Tammy II regularly appear as a recurring 'villain'. But when Tammy II caught a glimpse of Tammy 1, she cussed, turned on her heels and yeeted herself out of there as fast as possible. That's when we knew that however evil Tammy II was, Tammy I was, by far, much much worse. This episode proved that to be true.
I like how Ron starts to come back when his best friend (Leslie) decides to drink but he is finally back when his oldest "daughter" April drinks and almost dies. The dad's love overcomes any programming
Two things. 1. Wish they had shown the end of Ron downing all of that bottle like a boss. 2. Always wished they where a little extreme and had his mustache suddenly reappear after he downed the bottle. Like a Phoenix majestically rising from the ashes.

I love how even under the influence of tam1, Ron is very considerate of Leslie's feelings and opinions. He trusts her implicintly. He thinks she is naive because she s idealist, but he trusts her loyalty because of that. It s also funny how obssessed Ron is by being a manly_man, but then he marries controlling manipulative women, and his mother seems the same.
