Camping at Sprague Brook County Park || Erie County NY

- Sprague Brook County Park in Erie NY was home of the campsite that we thought we weren't going to like until we set up. From the road it looked like a driveway, so much so, we were considering calling to see if we could switch, but then, once we parked so that awning and slides could open, we realized that there was lots of room at the back - earning it the nickname of the Mullet site. Business in the Front and Party in the back. I hope we aren't aging ourselves too much and people still remember the mullet hair cut. If not, forgive us and watch anyway because we got to see some pretty special places from Sprague Brook. We went to The Blueberry Treehouse Farm, Eternal Flame, Colden Falls, Mystic Hills Brewery, A great farmer's market, and Fox Hole Winery. Come along with us while we check out this amazing area.

Erie County Parks always refer to whatever "main" building or shelter as a Casino. No connection to gambling, the terminology comes from the 1920's when much of the County Parks system was established. Sometimes it's just a large shelter, sometimes it's a building that houses some of the park operations and maybe a snack bar or rustic banquet room for rent.

Aa a kid i used to drink down at the eternal flame. It wasn't as well known and the trail wasn't as nice as now. We always entered from the south side of the creek off a dead end
