I listened to the entire album when it came out from start to finish late at night. And when he said " That's it" at the end of "Wasteland, Baby!" I couldn't help but cry. The album was so beautifully and thoughtfully written. Andrew put his heart and soul into it. I looked forward to it for such a long time and in less than an hour it was all over. There would be never be a time I'd get to experience the entirety of this beautiful creation for he first time again.

around 4:00 when Hozier and the pianists come in exactly at the same time after a slow down and pause is so impressive. I can't see any communication between them and those things vary so much between rehearsal and performance, but that moment of perfection explains exactly how Hozier got this far this quick. He's an excellent musician who surrounded himself with more excellent musicians.
Everytime I hear this song I can see myself sitting on a hill, content with the life I've lived, watching the end of the world on the horizon, but hearing it live I am in the end. The fires burning the world overtake me and I meet it with peace and acceptance. Transcendent experience
