This is the best live version of a great Rock tune ever! Great energy and a fantastic job of mixing. It's hard to beat the studio version, but they did. Doesn't get better than this! Kim Gearhart
THIS SONG IS MEGA COOL, HOPE PEOPLE ARE LEARNING! THAT ENERGY I FELT FROM HER WAS BEYOND PEACE AND PLEASURE, IT TAUGHT ME TO HOLD ON , LOOSELY!!!!!! THANK YOU GUY'S, MAYBE A BEGINNING TO-- Living Openly Vivid Experiences, L.O.V.E. 😅😊 G'DAY MATES, SEE YOU IN THE OTHER SIDE.
38 special is awesome... i saw them in 2007...they are honestly one of the best live performances you can see today they sound exactly like they do in the studio
I saw them in Ventura CA while they were on this tour, which was fantastic. They rocked from start to finish and had a blast doing it as did the audience. The sound quality and playing was perfect, effortless and amazing.
YeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeHaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!!!!Now THIS is what I call southern fried rock n roll!!!!!!!!!I seen them live back in the mid 80s and they were fannnnnnnntastic!!!!!!Thank you for posting this :-)
@Guitarlon1. Firstly his name is spelled Van Zant and secondly he's in the band because he's one of the lead singers, one of the main song-writers, the live acoustic guitar player as well as the crowd pleaser for the band. He also formed the band. Are they good enough reasons for you?
@RangRing68 Yes Don is the original singer. Check out the videos from 1981. He has changed the most in how he looks. But he and Donnie started this band in the 70's
Don Barnes voice is one of the best in Rock and Roll...Sweet as honey...

Too bad the volume wasn't consistent!
Sorry , but I held on tightly, thru the whole song!
where did he miss a note i must not have caught it
Surprized how good they sound without Jeff Carlisi
Barnes really does a good job!!
I love Jeff!!!
@@debboyea9567 without him this song would not exist, the opening riff wouldnt exist.
he missed one note.. barely.... the guy is a great and tasteful solo player.
Who is playing the drums in this performance?
Gary Moffatt
Donnie V
@genegeener you're wrong. It's quite easy to hear Van Zant's acoustic playing in this song. He's not faking it at all.
Donnie Van Zant
You have no ideal what your talking about. You see how hard it is to stand the test of time someday, "maybe". You bummed me out.
come'on man
get over yourself
this is as close to spamming as you can get
...and you know what people think of spammers
Barnes still sounds great, Donnie is still an embarassment to the Van Zant name!
Tony Phillips agree.
I would have to disagree with you guys on this donnie van zant is a good singer
Why do they keep Donnie Van zant? He is a pke.
