We headed out after a hard week at work to go east on the Kentucky Adventure Tour. We started on parts shared with the Daniel Boone Backcountry Byway (DBBB), before venturing to parts we were not familiar with.

Man this brings back some memories! We did the entire loop a few years ago. The tight trails around 7:14 still make me cringe! My black jeep's paint was never the same! Like you we found a bunch of horses around there! Absolutely gorgeous!
Lol! That's the problem with dark paint colors off road! It's all worth it to see the sights though.
@@RevereOverland No doubt! Now I have a lighter color that's twice as expensive to touch up...lol
Worth it for the sweet orange color!
Looks like a lot of fun, been looking to getting into this with my Rock Warrior. Didn't know this was so close to lexington. Great Video
Cool video! This is very familiar terrain for me. Glad you enjoyed our part of the State.
It's neat out there. We'll be going back sometime to finish the KAT.
@@RevereOverland I live in Letcher County very near the Pine Mountain Section of the KAT. I will be watching for your future videos.
Great video man! Love the horses 🐎
Thanks! It was really cool to see them.
Thanks for the invite.... haha
Enjoyed the video keep them coming
Thanks for the feedback!
Great Video
Great video!
Glad you enjoyed it!
The horses were amazing
I really enjoyed seeing them. It was unexpected.
Revere Overland that is probably what made it so amazing, the fact we had no idea they would be there
Good stuff!
Thank you!
I've watched this 3 times now. Not sure exactly what is different, but I like this edit a lot!
Same
Thanks guys!
I live in Western Ky. I’ll have to check i out.. thanks..
Great vid and editing! Do u or any of your viewers know of something like this in Northern VA or MD?
I would like to try this with my long bed Ford.. some day maybe.
Great video, thanks for the post. What was the running board guard rails used on the taco?
I think it’s the stock ones, but he cut the steps off.
Finally getting a chance to do the KAT as you suggested on June 12 from WV Hatfield and McCoy. Love you to join us if you got the time
I'll be out of state, but thanks for the invite! Enjoy!
Did I see a Maddog winch? Lol I recently bought one for my atv, haven’t really had to use it much other than winching downed trees.
Nice 🐟🐟🎣😁
We need to spend more days around that area next time!
For sure. I really enjoyed it, but I don't regret skipping the storms!
Nice intro shot man. Coming down your way in a week or so.
black hill mtn rules
Safe travels! I look forward to seeing it!
Would love to see more of that LX470
Check out some of my other videos then - it features heavily!
Revere Overland sweet, will do. Keep up the good work.
How are those trails? I’ve never done any wheeling or over landing and I want to get into to get my kids out and make some fun memories. We live in ky so it’s something I’d like to try out with my second gen dodge pickup.
I've just subscribe. Planing to do some overland camping one day. Do you think a Black Series HQ12 would be able to make the run?
what kind of screen tent are you using ?
I miss the jeep!
Y'all need to check out Ronny Dahl,, 4 wheelin western Australia.
Did you happen to capture coordinates for your start and end points? If so, would you mind sharing them? I live in Northern Kentucky, and just bought a new Tacoma TRD Off-Road a few months ago. I’d love to try it out there!
Search Kentucky Adventure Tour on FaceBook for the GPS tracks.
Does "Wes" have a YT or IG page? I believe I met him and his trailer several years ago at Overland Expo East and I would like to see more of his trailer.
Hey man do you still have the Hemi and how long have you had it for? How many miles have you put on it? Any engine troubles what so ever? Overheating etc...? Looking to buy a 5.7 for overlanding
Sold it for a 4Runner! I miss the hemi, but not the mpg! It had about 150k miles when I sold it, and seemed to be just fine.
How do we find this route or the maps for it?
Search for Kentucky Adventure Tour on Google or Facebook
WK all day
I love the WK - it's so good with Quadra Drive II!
These trails cant be to bad i mean a stock lexus taking them down
Most of them are pretty easy trails. You do have to remember that the stock Lexus you see is almost identical to the legendary Land Cruiser, but has hydraulic lifting suspension. It has more clearance stock than the other two lifted vehicles!
That "stock" lexus has 33" tires, a locking transfer case, atrac and a hydraulic suspension that lifts it 3" at the push of a button. I'll take the lexus
More to fail on you. Ill admitt i didnt know about the hydro lift but still, you wanna break that high dollar fucker? No you dont.
And those cant be 33s 265s maybe
Lol. They’re 275/70r18, which gives them a 33.2 inch diameter.
