    The drifta custom draws look great and are well thought out. Definitely got a bargain there! 🤙🏼

      I couldn't agree more! Can't wait until I venture to my next 4WD and get to design a system from scratch with Drifta!

    I think it'd be cool to have one of the bottom drawers as a fridge/freezer, so you don't have to have that big mechanism holding the chest and have to unstrap and open it.

      That’s a good idea! I did have a few different plans for the back of the 200 but I’ve since sold it.

      @@TroyStaines I also think it'd be cool to have a bed in there and build a duct from the rear climate vents and redirect them inside the sheets for a cooled/heated bed inside.

    another great vid, curious what you did to alleviate some of the rattle from the drop slide.

    Which is that rear bar? Also which camera gear are you using to make these epic vids?!

    • @TroyStaines
      @TroyStaines  2 роки тому

      It's a RASLARR rear bar mate - if you go to Episode V of the series I talk about it a bit more. It's a mix of Sony & Panasonic gear mate :) thanks!

    Nice one mate good setup. How is the Raslarr holding up, any rust yet? I had one and she started bubbling after a couple of years.

    • @TroyStaines
      @TroyStaines  3 роки тому +1

      I sold the car to a mate about 2 months ago and there was definitely no issues. I know Raslarr had a bad rep in the early days and they were using third party coaters - they have since moved everything in house and I believe they have a lot more control over the finishing now!

    Did I miss what you do for water?

    • @TroyStaines
      @TroyStaines  3 роки тому +1

      Hey Gavin - I didn’t mention this in any of the videos. I don’t have a fixed water tank in the car. I have a 110ltr PVC water bladder that I sit on the floor in front of the back seats when I’m touring on long trips. The reason I do this is because the PVC bladder can fold down when it’s not in use so it takes up minimal room. I also normally carry 1 jerry can on the rear bar with water in it and a tap. This way when the raslarr rear bar is open and I’m cooking on the tailgate, the water tap is right there for cleaning etc. and I can refill that in creeks. I don’t use that for drinking water, just for cleaning and washing hands etc.
      Hope this helps!

      @@TroyStaines cheers mate thanks for your reply! Could you in theory put some kind of water system down the sides of your drifta drawers and attach a pump and spray hose?

    • @TroyStaines
      @TroyStaines  3 роки тому

      @@gavinchapple825 100% - I think Drifta even offer the 200 series draws with an inbuilt 40ltr tank at the back which would be perfect!
