I've always loved the Chameleon mainly because he would never speak or make a single sound in his true form which in my opinion made him twice as creepy plus he looked like a walking skeleton. I seriously would love to see him in a Spider-Man movie one day especially as he was the first ever villain that he faced going all the way back to 1962. A guy who can constantly change his appearance and never get fully caught would be a lot of fun to watch on the big screen, I really hope we get him in the MCU one day
So... THAT is why The Chameleon never spoke in this cartoon eh? I can understand... But I think Spider-Man should have had a throwaway line like THISL for all the kids watching like "The Chameleon sure doesn't talk much... Maybe he's afraid of revealing what his real voice sounds like?"
