What an interesting technique you have. I love the whole loop of painting really rough, then smudging / blurring it all over, then adding the details again. It’s like seeing a blurred out object slowly get into focus as the painting progresses.

You are the first digital artist I've seen that doesn't flip their portraits back and forth and was still able to maintain great a quality.
It wouldn’t show that in the video process. It’s recorded in the background and doesn’t show Procreate‘s menu or changes to the canvas. Only the painting process itself.

i don't think that should bother anyone , if the end product is right , it doesn't matter which style you chose , appreciate talent not the method , btw i agree with Sirenia0 .. he's right
Youre making it seem like it’s bad to flip the canvas. It’s completely necessary no matter your skill level
Awesome piece! I love how you rendered out her skin! You really nailed the textures! Great job with her hair as well! I love seeing other artists process! It's great for reference and studying!

After a month or longer the time when it first published I watched it and fell in love with digital arts! I've come here back just only to give a like because at that time I didn't have any Google account. But I'll be here again when it'll cross a million, and again when it's a billion!

why i am not that talented , i remember those days when i was a 4th grader and was really good at artistic related works like painting , drawing , sketching etc. I used to draw things all day .as i grew up i focused completely on my studies and completely forgot that i used to paint and stuffs , after all that years i came back to art field and digital drawing and still not good as my 4th grader version in terms of imagination, skills and creativity ... wish i never left my passion :'( , btw you did a great job buddy , what you did is incredible and it's really not easy at all to create something digitally from scratch and make it look so realistic.

I love the way you light your characters, I really admire your work. I just started using Procreate and I was wondering; do you paint on one layer? Since I see you blend quite often, and that can only be done on one layer, right? Still trying to get used to working on the iPad ;) And do you use a reference photo when painting?
Thank you! Yes I work on one layer. Sometimes I'll duplicate the layer though if I like what I have and want to take chances on the duplicate. :)) I did use refs for these. I have links to each in my description :D

incredible.. BTW I think it's orthodox but still relevant and That's why I like it. Not using too much layers, keeping it simple, making use of the brushes in a simple manner and making a great painting. I liked the last one specially.

How is that compares to photoshop? if you don't mind me ask =) I'm a long time photoshop painter (when doing things digitally)
It took me a couple days to get used to like making brushes bigger and smaller and color picking. But then after a while it became second nature. Now when I work in photoshop on an art display, I'm having to remember things are different and it's not touch screen lol. I've found that I can do my whole workflow in Procreate and Photoshop Fix on the Ipad pro. But some people even get Photoshop on the Ipad by using Astropad. You just have to pay monthly I believe, so it wasn't worth it to me. I believe all the essentials for a painter are in Procreate.
