I am a 57 year old man. I just built two gunplas. I simply love these mobile suits. My favorite is the Rx 93. But this short does justice to the gundam lore. I am absolutely mesmerized by this clip. May Disney never touch this franchise.

1:40 getting chills here! Brought me back to the show! The movements are so smooth and you just feel the weight of them and the mobile suits! The way Exia deployed the sword was solid and flew at the Zaku with a speed that felt right in combact and in visual! This is awesome! (The end was also beautiful to watch!)

The mecha animation looks far better than the upcoming netflix production! I like how you used the proportions from the PG Exia kit. Edit: also why does the Zaku pilot have a HRL helmet?
@@arm514ve5 Flags have superior mobility and active defensive capabilities. Its primary weapon also outclasses normal Zaku loadouts, as it's straight up a railgun. This is just the regular Union Flag, not Over Flags. Zaku II's are far better in their versatility though, I'll give you that.

They would be joined by other Gundams from AC, FC, WFM, DC, though the CE representative would be Shin instead of Kria because he would die during the initial Zeon attacks. Any Build entrys into the settings would be first dragged into it from their respective world through some method to give the gunpla the abilities of a normal mobile suit.
Could be possible as GN particles can literally warp and open up portal. Iirc in Gundam Next Future promotional art. Is Setsuna going into different multiverse giving the desert flowers to the protag in those universe.
My husband is a giant Exia fan and after watching this short video, I can understand him a bit better. This feeling when he chose the other weapon... wow!
This is AMAZING. The animation looks and feels heavy, the models are phenomenal! The music was fitting and bombastic where it needed to be. I do have to warn you though, if you're going to be making this into a series, please PLEASE get some voice actors involved. The AI voices stand out, and people will absolutely give you grief over it. But for real, this feels straight out of a AAA studio. Like a Super Robot Wars cutscene or something!
You should send this to the love death and robots/secret level people and see if they can give you a shot at the next season. Needs more script but you’re there with the animation for sure

Seeing my entry into the Gundam series destroy the foot soldier of the OG Gundam series in such a beautiful animation is not something I thought I’d see today, but am I glad I did! That Zaku stood no chance against Exia!
Just like the Zaku is from a slightly different UC timeline where Zeon won, I think we're seeing _Ptolemaios_ and Exia from a slightly different timeline. Notice the slightly different colours, and how much less of the crew we see. And why was Ian on Mars?
i really like that he made the zaku pilot wear a TIEREN pilot suit with the head covered in big blocky helmet and tube running out to the oxygen tank, its a really nice touch

Gundam is a franchise that Hollywood, which caters to the lowest common denominator, would absolutely fail at making. Gundam fan art in all forms has been and always will be amazing - made by people with love, for love.

Okay so, this is amazing animation. Like, fantastic. I've got some feedback on the content itself tho. 1) when the exia pilot is moving to get in the gundam, it looks like they're swimming. In zero g there isn't anything to swim through really. 2) since the researcher is wearing a normal suit or other space suit, it can be assumed that the planet they are on doesn't have an atmosphere. Since there is not atmosphere, the exia shouldn't be on fire on reentry. No atmosphere = no friction= no heat. It does look bad ass tho. 3) the primary purpose of the GN blade on exia was that it was a kinetic weapon to deal with MS that had shielding against beam type weapons. It isn't a giant heat hawk. Anywho, looked great. Excited to see more
It's Mars. The planet the video takes place on is clearly meant to be Mars and it does have an atmosphere just not one that a human can survive in without a space suit. I do agree that Stetsuna entering Exia looks too much like he's swimming through water towards it though.

Zeon messed up a bit , the first AU they visit has GN tech while they are still OYW UC tech. 😅
The Double O series takes place in a fictional Anno Domini timeline, over 200 years after our present day.
They could have messed up more and gone to Seed and then none of their mechs would work because of N-jammers.
