Great carving Kevin, wonderful detail on the puffin & the hat & bow tie adds that whimsical aspect to our Newfoundland Puffin. I have never tried to carve a bird & your video has challenged me to try & carve one. Thanks.
I had a question about the occt knife brand. Do you know how I would go about buying one? I found their site and the where to buy icon, I clicked on it and got lost in all the information.
Do enjoy watching you great job

Thank you Bruce. I really don’t enjoy whittling animals. I prefer the little characters
Thanks for another great video Mr. Kevin. The hat and bow tie just made it pop.
Thanks Kevin
Catching up on your videos. Going to carve this one thank you
👍🏻
Kevin, love this piece, my wife says carve one for me, that said what is the wood size and where might I get the pattern? Thanks again.
Thank you Bob. I think I may have a pattern here for this one. Give me an email to send it to
Lovely little character, thanks for the tutorial.
Thank you
Nice change of pace.. A simple project suitable for a beginner with lots of potential.
Thank you Joe. It’s one I did to go along with a Santa I’m doing. I really don’t like whittling animals
I have always wanted to make a penguin like this but now maybe I will copy Kevin's idea and make a cute puffin instead. Thank you Mr Coates!
Thank you
I love those little guys!
Thank you
Nice project!!!
Thank you
I like it, Kevin Coates.
Thank you

To be honest, I have no idea. The 3 OCC knives I have was given to me by a subscriber to my channel. They are great knives
@@KevinCoates98 Ok, thank you.
I'm new to whittling. Please could I ask what wood you use.
White pine is his favourite!

I love puffins I'll for sure will try this one after I have carved my Easter decorations 😅💕
