Thanks Kevin. You do a great job of periodically holding the piece up for the camera so we can see the progress and make sure we are following along correctly. A super added bonus for me is that I am a lefty as well which makes it so much smoother to follow along. Keep this gold coming!
An amazing little carving. I wouldn't have believed it possible if I hadn't watched you do it. He has turned out fantastic. Thanks for sharing with us Kevin.
Right when I think there's nothing else you can "pull out of your hat" you give us micro carving. This is a whole 'nother level of difficult. Great job. Cheers!
Wonderful carving. I can understand the challenge of trying to carve something so small. You have such a good knife control to make those cuts to show the same kind of detail you would have on a larger carving. You are an expert at carving & it is always a pleasure to watch you carve & learn from a true master carver. Thanks.
I enjoyed watching this...very calming and inspiring. No need for disturbing background music just do your thing straight forward. Awesome stuff thanks for sharing.
Thanks Doug. Everything is always a rush for me and I'm not always as careful as I should be. Thats my excuse. Lol This time it was my puppy chomped down on it

Thank you. A left hand is right for us 🤣
Yes it’s incredible, think how good he would be if he used the right hand👍👍👍

Thank you. I don't know if it's much more difficult but you do need to be much more careful. It's so easy to touch flesh with the blade

Thank you Bruce. The challenge for me is trying to keep hold of the small piece of wood
Yes, one must have control of your tool at all times👍👍👍
These are amazing Kevin. Really enjoyed the video, especially the level of detail you are able coax out of the wood on the face and head.
Thank you Sue. They are a bit of a challenge
Hi Kevin
I've just watched this for the second time and loved it. So much detail in such a small figure. More like this please.
Thanks Rob, more to come
@@KevinCoates98 Excellent news.
O wow! Even if I had the skills to carve something like that, I no longer have the eyes to do it. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you. I find it a little hard on the eyes too

Great little guys! Love it -almost time to hit that thumbnail again it’s almost grown out lol
Thanks Doug. Everything is always a rush for me and I'm not always as careful as I should be. Thats my excuse. Lol This time it was my puppy chomped down on it

What knife are you using to make this carving?
It's an OCC knife. Not sure if it's a chip carving knife or not. I use it for a detail knife
Hello kevin i have a request. Could you carve a small spirit mask that scares away ghosts and demons? Would love to see a scary mask carved by you

Thanks
Wow amazing job😊
Thank you
im not gonna try this one because i think i would end up cutting myself.
You would need to be very careful with pieces this small. Actually you need to be careful with a knife with any size wood
@@KevinCoates98 im very careful with big size wood but something that small i would struggle
