I desire to start a nonprofit specifically for single mothers. I want to house them and teach them life skills.
Having just received my non-profit status from the IRS I can say it is a learning experience. Start now as it has taken a year from the day I filed for a state of Texas LLC non-profit until I received my 501(c)(3). It took 10 months to get through the EIN and the 501(c)(3).

I'm homeless in Colorado. Lowest point in my life. I was baptisted catholic yet grew up lost. I sat 6 1/2 years in South Dakota prison & have been free off paper for a 1 1/2 & times are only getting harder. I am very respectful & educated person & im fully capable of working but finding a stable place to live is getting harder. The past year I've become a firm believer in god n god is taking care of me but I'm drowning so if you could be a blessing from afar or direct me if you know anyone in the area would be truly amazing. During the summer it was wonderful but it's getting cold.... freezing,! Thank you

I’m in Stone Mountain GA and I found out 2 days ago that what I’m doing would be best served as a nonprofit. My mission statement is housing a network of businesses to empower homeless veterans through mindset training and job opportunities to move from homeless to home lease. It seems like with some of the other comments, we have similar missions and I’m to collaborate.

Question: I have had an Employee ID Number thru my Amazon.com seller account. In 2015 I formed a non profit corporation in the hopes of establishing a research center and museum. During this time I was in the process of writing a book, which after a few years, is now ready to be self-published and distributed via my Amazon seller account, eBay, my own web site and hopefully thru Barnes and Noble, various other web sites and in other book stores. I am hoping the money I earn from the book will pay me a salary but also provide me with the funds needed to actually lease or buy a building in which to operate the research center and museum. My question is; can I use the EIN I have with Amazon or do I need to file for a new EIN and advise the IRS that the EIN is related to my non profit corp.? I had the Amazon EIN a few years before I started my non profit. The only thing the two have in common is my name and SSN. When I had my book copyrighted, it was under my name and my non profit corp name. I have not yet filed for a 5013C exemption because I was not sure if I should, though my non profit is educational and also religious since my non fiction book is also. I don't have fund raisers or seek donations but hope the sales of my book will be successful to the point of having the funds needed to fulfill my ambitions for the research center and museum. I have no employees. Maybe one or two part timers in the future if the book scores well and I have open a facility.

Is foundation better than non profit because foundation protects the founders and also do service. Also tax break is almost same

You should look at 508 Religious Non-Profit Corporation, whereas you setup 2 of these at same time. Separation of Church and State that a lot of people don't realize.

Unfortunately we are not able to help with the 508c1a. These are very nuanced and are sometimes difficult to qualify for. We are able to help with other types of non profits.
I am planning on an organization to send machinery, to the places of disasters on this continent as well as across the world. Any place on this earth that has a natural disaster. Does not matter if its earthquake, Hurricanes, Tornadoes, floods, whatever. I will be buying the machinery to send along with the people who will operate the equipment. Donations will be accepted for the upkeep of the equipment only. So I will need Your help to structure the applications.

Do these 501 organizations have to publish their officers with the secretary of state?
The California doj recommended suing one of them for illegal business practices and I discovered their agent is not listed nor their 501
It depends on the state. There is a number of states where the names of the officers/directors can remain private and not publicly displayed.

Amendment 16 contradicts Article 1 in the Constitution, and article 4 says these rules can not be changed, so the federal government can't tax the people directly. that's for the States.
Yeah I say what binds any of us to anything. Basically follow gods laws or law of the land don't hurt nobody or damage property. Especially the present day with the imposter Biden administration it's very clear our American government is complete utter fraud. The old saying is true believe half of what you see and nothing what you hear. Taxes are voluntary. Participation in the government entities is voluntary. We are not given full disclosure of any of these contracts they are all null and void.

So you say I'm not looking to have a right off I want to help people I don't need anything but clothes and food to eat and a way to get to work but I want to take my money and give it to help others a child who can't go to camp you know I don't know I know exactly what I need and I think I just need to since you do work for the IRS find out where you're located and just hire somebody to be a CPA that can just take the money and help me with the foundation I just want to spread love and give a smile to somebody's face I want them to know that it's going to be okay this is the only way I know how to do it it's killing me that I have not been able to do it so I might as well just put myself aside since I have my whole life and give away what I make cuz it makes me happy when I see somebody else smile that's the only thing that makes me smile when I'm making somebody else happy
