I have been journaling in my Bible for over 5 years in the same one, but It isn’t art journaling. I do decorated note taking in it with color, some stickers, washi, some tip ins, tabs etc, not much dimension. I want to continue using this as my main Bible for a long time. It means too much to me to consider moving into a new one. I have other journals for more elaborate designs, those are two volumes per year. It is awesome to dig into His word and be able to respond as our heart speaks, thru art.
I'm a beginner, and not yet started. Just bought an Inspire Bible. I love your creativity. It's inspiring, though I prefer not to cover/blot out the words. A daily personal one-to-one devotional time with God is a necessity, just as breathing, and is what God expects from us. We can talk to God as with a friend. We can then be inspired in our creativity, that positively effects both ourselves, in getting to know God more, and in reach out to others. For additional bible study, I've found Hope Sabbath School on UA-cam really helpful, especially when you've no-one to study with. God bless you all.

Thank you so much! I'm biblejournaling for almost a year now and it was an adventure, a whole new level of biblestudies. It makes my heart dance closer to God! And I was a little afraid that it would ebb off and I would land back where I started but you really encouraged me that it does not have to get old but it can change with my hearts change that will hopefully bring me closer to God step by step, entry by entry ❤❤❤

I've done two pages and while I love that I am studying his word I obsess that the page does not do his word justice. I have always felt our Lord in my life he has always guided me thick and thin but I most recently asked him to be in my life and also acknowledge Him and his word be present in the word of God I purchased a journaling Bible that I made my first entry YESTERDAY!! literally because of your inspiration and I just want to really thank you for your inspiration your passion the love of your Bible in the word of our Lord and savior you are an amazing person and I am so happy I get to watch you and all these videos to help guide me through my journey that I've just embarked upon God bless you and your Bibles are absolutely beautiful!!! How do you read it when you are drawing and colouring over it? And do the pens go through? The pages are so thin. I can’t bring myself to mark books so I have a faith planner instead. I admire your creativity though.

I love the act of writing in margins, doodling a bit, but covering words with paint ? what is even the point of hiding the words ? bible journals are making their bibles all about themselves, not about God and his word

Can you tell me about the large, chunky date stamp set that you've used throughout that bible? I've seen this used by several UA-camrs, but haven't been able to find product information. Is this a discontinued Illustrated Faith set?
I started journaling the word so when I read my bible I will have a summary of what I take from it every time I read it. I don't see myself switching bibles so often ... I may just add tipins etc ... I guess everyone has their own process...personally I am making sure that all the words r visible.
You're going too fast for Me to read the verses or even see the art, and you're talking so fast I feel like I can't catch My breath. You can't minister to others unless you slow down.
