SO SO glad I stumbled upon this. I was literally praying “Lord help me to see an example of a less frilly journaling style. I don’t want to draw - I want to take meaningful meaty notes in a practical yet fun way. Show me.” That was a couple days ago. Then this popped up on my feed! So inspired and excited now! 😊
😂 I LOVE that you said "meaty notes" the first time I ever heard that from Faith on her youtube "How to Faith a Life" (Bible Nerds) she always expresses Bible notes as "meaty" and "juicey" and I thought that was such a good expression of genuine wholehearted notes and good way to describe your thoughts... She also doesn't draw much, she's crafty and takes TONS of meaningful notes. If your looking for more ideas on Bible Journaling I highly suggest checking her out as well. You can never follow enough Christian creators! Even if they have similar content (like Bible journaling) you can still find great ideas from each different expression! ❤
I’ve been a Christian for years and finally bought a SRT Bible and started writing and highlighting in it. I actually learn the more i do it. Your Bible is so simple and I can see how much you love your Bible.
I so appreciate your attitude that the main point is to read the word and make entries that enlarge your understanding. Too many journal just to be artistic, even covering the words!
I can relate to the sticky notes causing pages to stick together… a quick fix for this would be to apply a little baby powder on the spot that is causing pages to stick from the note .. it also smells good 😘
I know this is an old video but your shorts popped into my feed today. Now I'm a new subscriber. Thank you for sharing your way of journaling. It's much closer to how I write in my Bible.
This is so beneficial for folks who say they really don’t want to journal in their bible because they do not draw or are not creative…you are showing a beautiful Avenue that anyone can develop. I am impressed and inspired to continue my study with this type of documentation. Best of wishes as you follow your heart and God’s word.
I loved this video so much! I love seeing everyone’s individual styles, spending time with God. I also adore your table setup. I appreciated the aesthetics 🥹💗
I have a journaling Bible and just recently started using it. I’ve heard you should delight in God’s Word. You have inspired me to branch out and get more creative. Thank you for sharing!
Love this bible I have it in the coral color . Love your ideas that’s nice that your using your kids art might ask my grandkids for some of there’s . I usually pull my bible out about the time the hubby watches the news. It truly helps me through all bad news going on in the world 🌎 Jesus Christ is my comforter and I Love the presence of him during my bible reading
I just wanted to say how greatful I am for this video! I have been getting into bible journalling lately and I have often felt really discouraged by how imperfect (i think) my bible looks in comparison. It was really cool to see someone share their bible journal that looked more like mine rather than some *pinterest* perfect version! Thank you!
If I try to make it perfect or do fancy lettering all the time - for myself - I wouldn’t use my bible as a way to get closer to God. Study for me is messy, cluttered and in the moment. I’m so glad you found this encouraging. Wreck your bible and know God❤️
@@biblenotesandfaithLove this about your content! Thank you for being so real and genuine! I'm the same way and at first I would try the fancy lettering, failing miserably at every take and it was discouraging! I even stopped journaling for awhile... Then realized NO WAY am I going to stop because of that after all Bible Journaling isn't about the look of things but just a different way to help express and motivate you thru the wonderful word of the Lord! God doesn't care that my handwriting is horrendous nor is he checking my grammar or spelling... I'm in the Bible to learn his word to help live my life best and closest to him in his ways! Doesn't matter how I learned that and grow towards him as long as I do ❤ thank you again for sharing your journey! I just found you I'm hoping you have a story time video would love to hear how you found the Lord late in life and so recently yet you are Soo wise and mindful of the Bible and God in general it seems. You are TRULY an inspiration I can't wait to see more 🥰 God bless u 🙏
Every Bible I own turns into a journaling Bible. Whether there are decent margins or barely any, I highlight and underline and use sticky notes wherever I can. It's the reason I won't ever buy a premium Bible, because I would just leave it in the box. The temptation to write and highlight is too strong for me to ignore, so I buy the most inexpensive Bibles I can find. And, I am old with no children, so I don't have anyone to pass my Bibles down to. When I'm gone, they will be a meaningless stack of books that will be tossed into the trash along with my other earthly goods. Praise God though, I won't care! P.S. I got saved just a few months prior to my 40th birthday. I'm now 75 so don't ever feel bad about getting saved so late in life. You are His now and that's what matters!
Coming back to watch the full video and I got myself a rose colored she reads truth CSB journal Bible and I LOVE IT. It has a lot of cool little features and I love this very relatable style of Bible journaling. Great content 🙌🏽
I'm so glad I found your channel. Thank you for sharing this. I watched your video also of your testimony at a conference. You're a great speaker and are inspiring. I'm looking forward to watching more of what you share. Blessings to you and your family!
When you were flipping through the OT, there were several notes that said, "This is Jesus!" Can you do a quick video of which verses you wrote those next to? I love that Jesus was always planned (He's even in the story of Adam and Eve's Fall), and I like noting all the references others find of Him as well.
Hi, it's 1st time watching your videos, and I'm subscribed now😊 I feel sharing...when you were speaking about your first notes, I felt in my spirit to tell you that "IT WAS YOUR GENESIS"😊 Loved the content and your heart's desire to learn about our Heavenly Father. He has chosen you to spread His GOODNEWS with this channel and ministry. May God's blessings cover you and your family.❤ yr sister in Christ, Alessandra
I just got into reading the Bible and Bible journaling this year. (I’m reading it in chronological order.) My version is KJV but I use UA-camrs and the bible app to help me. 😊 Thanks for sharing. New Sub.🙏🏻✝️
I'm so happy to find you here on YT, Tehlia! I followed you on IG but I have shut down IG & FB... your IG account was truly the one I missed the most - and here you are! 🙂 You are such a blessing!
I thought all Mildliner highlighters were ok in Bibles but I had bleed through in 3 different Bible test pages. It says no bleed through on most paper. Are there different types of Mildliners that I should try? Also could you please do live studies with us so we can see your note taking system? Thanks!
Hi I just found your channel today. Don't know if you said what Bible you were using in the video. Can you say what version or the actual name of the bible.please. I want to journal I. My bible so.please.assist.me. Thanks
@biblenotesandfaith, I recently purchased the men's version vs the womens. Im not sure if they have to same type of paper but I cant even use a fine tip pen (Pentel RSVP) or pencil w/o terrible show through. It ruins Ny chart etc on the opposite page. So disappointed. What are you writing with?
I’m so glad your shorts popped into my feed. I followed you on Instagram before I deleted my account and you gave me the idea to use the Color the World markers. I love your channel❤❤
*You're about 10 years too late to study the bible. Read Amos **8:11** then type in (proof of bible change residue junkie) AND HANG ON TO YOUR SEAT!!!*

Wow great tip thank you! I think I have one of those tiny baby powder bottles from years ago hiding in the back of a cabinet.

Covid made me come back to my Bible. It was a rough time for a lot of people.
I love the surroundings! It’s stunning
Love your Bible, well loved and well used ❤
I have this bible and love it. FYI - you can totally rub that sticky note residue right off. I do it all the time. :)
I’m a Bible dork for sure. Also a pastor. Your channel was a recommendation today and glad it was. Enjoying the videos
Wow! Thanks so much.
@@biblenotesandfaith my pleasure!
How can you be a “pastor” and be a Bible “dork”? You can’t be a teacher of Gods words and not know what God says.

Hi!!! I’m so glad you found me.
Thank you for this. I needed this!
Thanks for sharing!
I have the interleave Bible on my list. I’d like a darker brown but I guess your hand oils will change. Oh the artwork is a great idea!
That’s what I’m hoping too with the interleaved bible on my shelf. I guess I need to start carrying that one around.
Thanks so much for sharing! 💖
Just found you on here.. so glad i did. I prefer UA-cam over IG. Could you show how you add the tip ins with the washi tape?
Talc powder over the sticky parts might help.
So so glad from me India❤
I have the she reads truth also I have the rose gold one

You can put a little bit of corn, starch, or baby powder on the sticky parts and it won't stick anymore. I know this video is old
Hi. Are u going to do more videos? We miss you
Miss you. Hope you are doing well 🎉
Tfs❤️✨

BIBLE IN THIS VIDEO - amzn.to/3fEW7Bk
This is the she reads truth bible. I have it in Gray. They come in different colors and cover styles

What are you writing with?
Pentel rsvp. It does ghost but nothing distracting for myself.
Check out the Pigma Micron Bible pens. I use them in my interleaved ESV Bible with no ghosting, and I also use crayons as highlighters.
You didn't come to Christianity late.
I’m so glad your shorts popped into my feed. I followed you on Instagram before I deleted my account and you gave me the idea to use the Color the World markers. I love your channel❤❤
Hi! I’m so glad it did too. Thanks for leaving a comment and connecting here. I planning to share more here soon.

Why are you spamming Christian videos with New Age stuff?
