I love Hoka shoes too and have done all my marathons in Hoka. For my next marathon I was looking to run in the carbon plated shoes by Hoka. Can you please tell more on why the plated shoes did not go well for you
The plated shoes I wore were great for short distances, but if you want something for a marathon distance, you’ll need something with plenty of support / cushion, whether that has a carbon plate or not is super individual
goodluck

Ran my first in clifton 8, worked out perfectly. Good luck buddy.
Testing rn nike invincible 3 and i feel like clifton 9 are much better (ran in them 750km)
Whats wrong with Invincible 3?
Different shoes for different run styles, clifton 9 are super supportive and cushioned
