It is very hard to describe but Paul does it beautifully. The metaphor of the ocean works well. The waves in the ocean look separate but they are all the one ocean.

I started the video somewhere in the middle and first thought that Paul must have attended sessions with Tony Parsons as the spoken words are so similar, but then I started this video from the beginning and realised that my assumption is incorrect. I enjoy every word that is said here, and there is not the slightest doubt whatsoever about their authenticity.
The words he uses are VERY similar to the words Lisa Cairns uses. The way he looks childishly/madly at the audience sometimes in a moment of excitement, and the gesture he makes with his hands to convey that "Wetness" (Lisa calls it "Aliveness"), remind me of Tony Parsons. They might just be birds of the same flock, therefore singing the same song, naturally ;_)

You can't reach the absolute from the point of view of duality. There has never been a moment that you aren't in the absolute. There is nothing outside of the absolute. The only thing I try to do is catch myself creating the STORY and creating the personality which I identify with. The glimpses I've had are so light since I'm not dragging around the personality and it's past !

One of the insights is that this achievement does not imply an 'achiever.' The pointing/describing helps expose 'what we are not but have believed we are.' What's left is clarity.

From mind's perspective/perception, nothing can be done/achieved. From Heart, it's more about being/Be-ing than doing. So from Heart, it just is - can be "achieved," IOW. ~♥~
You could also put it differently: From the mind's perspective, only 'achieving' makes sense, and from the heart's point of view the mind's addiction to achieving something in an imaginary future is exposed as being detrimental to the 'real achievement' which is the recognition of 'what doesn't need any achievement.'

Clear explanation of the effortless awareness we are before all appearances of thought sensation and emotion. Think things are happening to you? They aren’t. They are just happening. It just seems like it’s happening to us because we beautifully and effortlessly dream that up with our minds. Yes a car can run over you and kill you but really it’s just energies colliding. It’s the identity with our thoughts and sensations that creates the “life that was ended in a tragic car accident.” Thought and emotion is great for parenting and making art and gadgets and meaning but that’s the movie. You are the movie screen. Be both, effortlessly. I assume he was paid for this talk? That’s why he was there. You need dream money to get around in your dream. No problem.
