Yes, we do need to pray. I'd like to add that we need to preach the gospel. Not our political views, though they are right, but the gospel. Everything flows out of people being right with God, and will follow hearts being made right.

Thank God that someone had put this beautiful book on UA-cam that I can listen to it days and nights without ceasing. I love E.M Bounds on prayer. I was exposed to his books by my spiritual father 2 years ago. I have zeal and desire a deeper prayer and he recommended Bounds books to me ever since and other materials. So deep. ❤
Regarding worry, I'd like to remind you to not be anxious about anything, but to present all your situations to the Lord, and trust Him with everything (Philippians 4:6-7). It is a sin not to trust God, and that is perhaps the first part of the spiritual battle.
A beautiful presentation of the Gospel of the stars. The background music was pleasant as well. I have read E. W. Bullinger’s book on the subject. It was interesting to hear a different perspective from the land of the Northern lights!
I was listening to this video while being asleep. And it made me be scarred of God. I thought God was gonna kill me the moment I stop praising him right. Bad impression, God is not like that. He praises us, that's his Kingdom! God bless you
Well, I think you're right that God doesn't kill us the moment we stop praising him. Still, or something wrong if we don't worship him in our heart all times. I can't remember ever reading in scripture that he praises us (in the sense that it is all about us), unless we lived a life for him and we are praised at the end...

I have heard of E. M. bounds for many years but I have not read any of his books or sermons. However, last Lord's day a pastor mentioned his name and gave a quote from this preacher which caused me to search out this man and his thoughts. May I find in him more wisdom by which to better serve God and my neighbor.
Does this book say one has to sing well? That is strange. Praise the Lord to the best of our abilities, for sure, but does it really say one must sing well to be saved?

Why is your faith better than that of a mother with a child with cerebral palsy? She prays, and has lots of faith, and her son still has cerebral palsy. If faith helps some, and not others, is it really effective? What was your experience like? Did you pray for something you could get otherwise? How can you measure faith? What kind of faith gets prayers answered? Since your payers are answered, have you prayed for world peace, or an end to disease and hunger? If you have, why haven't those prayers been answered? Religion has caused you to think you're special and deserve special treatment from god. Your reply is, basically: "I got mine. Try harder, bub". You got lucky. Coin toss. Coincidence plus self-centeredness. Cognitive bias.

Sometimes grace to go through a situation is better than having the problem taken away. But coincidence? No, I'd be a fool to think that. I know God is real, and that His son Jesus Christ really was on earth, lived, died, and rose again for our justification. But, if you don't believe that, there is precious little I can do to convince you. One would think all the evil around us, and all the movies and games that incorporate demons and witches would also demonstrate that there really is a devil, but not everyone can see this, apparently.
My PRECIOUS Grandmother prayed hours during ice cold nights and while dying, I heard her say, Herr Jesu, Ich liebe Dich!” She suffered horrifically!!! I am nearly devoid of purity!!! I pray daily for forgiveness and mercy. If ONLY I HAD NOT FAILED HIM!!! Is there still HOPE?!!!??????
Sin ihorrible, and it often wraps us up in bondage. There can be significant consequences. But I also know of testimony after testimony of terrible sinners who repented and found freedom in Christ. I think a question is, are you willing? If you recognize how evil sin is, that it is opposed to God, and that you would be so willing to renounce it that even if you wouldn't find forgiveness in Christ that, that you would still do it for Christ's sake, then I do not see why Christ wouldn't receive you. But for me, my problem was that I enjoyed sin, and I had to ask the Lord to change my heart, I told him that was willing to be made willing. He gave me a new heart! I still am tempted to sin sometimes, but it's not the same anymore. I love the Lord, and I'm so grateful for his redemption, and aim to love and follow him with my whole heart, mind, so, and strength.

@@mfrmll3786 how do you find peace with God? In my personal bible study this morning, I was reading and John 8. Jesus said, if you continue in my word, you really are my disciples. You will know the truth, and the truth will set you free. He also says in John 8, truly I tell you, everyone who commits sin is a slave of sin. A slave does not remain in the household forever, but a son does remain forever. So if the son sets you free, you really will be free. The greatest source of peace for me is when I truly follow the Lord Jesus Christ and obey him. Sinful behavior is the worst thing preventing peace. I also love reading the Bible, and get a great sense of peace from the word of God. It is so true that it bathes me with a feeling of peace. I know when I am reading it, and of course applying to my own life, that I am where God wants me to be. Everything else I read and hear is not half as good or half as true. You willing to spend much time in prayer and scripture reading and application. This is of course assuming that you have the forgiveness of the Lord Jesus Christ for your past sins. He will wash away those sins when you place your faith in him, what he has done on the cross.
I was watching the interview with Caviezel and Ballard and quickly was creeped out by the whole thing. I specialized in communicating with severly autistic young people, body language, tone, eye movement, stems, etc... both of these dudes are off. This movie is allowed, because it is distraction to cover the RCC.

Ever heard of coincidences? Have you wondered why amputees pray, and have faith, and their limbs never grow back? Why is your faith better than that of a mother with a child with cerebral palsy? She prays, and has lots of faith, and her son still has cerebral palsy.
If faith helps some, and not others, is it really effective? What was your experience like? Did you pray for something you could get otherwise? How can you measure faith? What kind of faith gets prayers answered? Since your payers are answered, have you prayed for world peace, or an end to disease and hunger? If you have, why haven't those prayers been answered? Religion has caused you to think you're special and deserve special treatment from god. Your reply is, basically:
"I got mine. Try harder, bub".
You got lucky. Coin toss. Coincidence plus self-centeredness. Cognitive bias.
@@MikeTMike You know, it's not that I think it's about trying harder. And it sometimes God in his sovereign wisdom knows better that we do what is needed. Sometimes grace to go through a situation is better than having the problem taken away. But coincidence? No, I'd be a fool to think that. To think that there isn't a creator behind all we see is just ridiculous.

@@MikeTMike Well, I think the evidence for a creator is all around us, isn't it? But these "arguments" go nowhere in the long run. I know God is real, and that His son Jesus Christ really was on earth, lived, died, and rose again for our justification. But, if you don't believe that, there is precious little I can do to convince you. One would think all the evil around us, and all the movies and games that incorporate demons and witches would also demonstrate that there really is a devil, but not everyone can see this, apparently.

My PRECIOUS Grandmother prayed hours during ice cold nights and while dying, I heard her say, Herr Jesu, Ich liebe Dich!” She suffered horrifically!!!

Sin ihorrible, and it often wraps us up in bondage. There can be significant consequences. But I also know of testimony after testimony of terrible sinners who repented and found freedom in Christ. I think a question is, are you willing? If you recognize how evil sin is, that it is opposed to God, and that you would be so willing to renounce it that even if you wouldn't find forgiveness in Christ that, that you would still do it for Christ's sake, then I do not see why Christ wouldn't receive you. But for me, my problem was that I enjoyed sin, and I had to ask the Lord to change my heart, I told him that was willing to be made willing. He gave me a new heart! I still am tempted to sin sometimes, but it's not the same anymore. I love the Lord, and I'm so grateful for his redemption, and aim to love and follow him with my whole heart, mind, so, and strength.

@@mfrmll3786 how do you find peace with God? In my personal bible study this morning, I was reading and John 8. Jesus said, if you continue in my word, you really are my disciples. You will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.
He also says in John 8, truly I tell you, everyone who commits sin is a slave of sin. A slave does not remain in the household forever, but a son does remain forever. So if the son sets you free, you really will be free.
The greatest source of peace for me is when I truly follow the Lord Jesus Christ and obey him. Sinful behavior is the worst thing preventing peace. I also love reading the Bible, and get a great sense of peace from the word of God. It is so true that it bathes me with a feeling of peace. I know when I am reading it, and of course applying to my own life, that I am where God wants me to be. Everything else I read and hear is not half as good or half as true. You willing to spend much time in prayer and scripture reading and application. This is of course assuming that you have the forgiveness of the Lord Jesus Christ for your past sins. He will wash away those sins when you place your faith in him, what he has done on the cross.

I was watching the interview with Caviezel and Ballard and quickly was creeped out by the whole thing. I specialized in communicating with severly autistic young people, body language, tone, eye movement, stems, etc... both of these dudes are off. This movie is allowed, because it is distraction to cover the RCC.
