The only thing I find disappointing on these cars is that they sound like they are going to take off with the torque of an electric go kart leaving rubber marks once thrown into gear and set a 7 second quarter mile, but then pull off no faster than my Fiesta diesel. I know this was nowhere near its potential, but just an observation watching several videos.
+morphman21 Actually all Jet turbine engines can run diesel considering Jet-A1 is basically the exact same as diesel. Here in South Africa, for when the power grid is constrained, there are turbine generators that kick on to assist with the load during peak demand. They are engine's from old Boeings which burn diesel.
there is no big difference between diesel and jet fuel only the freezing temperature is much higher on diesel, but other than that i think they both works the same, the Abrams agt1500 can run on many different types of fuel including gasoline
All gas turbines are basically omnivorous but mechanically governed ones are "trimmed" for a specific fuel or close range of fuels. They also tend not to like tetraethyl lead which is an issue with putting 100LL avgas in them. Unleaded gasoline with some oil added is ok for most of them. But if the engine is trimmed for JP-5/Jet A as most are now you can overtemp it easily. Generally #1 diesel, K-1 with a little oil added, or #2 diesel if the temperatures outside arent too hot, is okay. Electronic engines compensate automatically.
I am glad that there is finally a replica with real working turbine, however there is something terribly off about the design (can't point it out) and it is not nearly as intricate and detailed as other Keaton replicas I have seen on youtube. Also , how is this legal? I thought for this thing to be legal you have to have rearview mirrors?

it has much higher rpm than anything else but you need a helicopter transmission to convert that to torque.

if it's a turbo shaft then there would be a gearbox and such for the wheels, same way it would spin a helicopter prop
